By the way, I do use Tonelib Jam regularly. It plays .psarc files and can display Rocksmith note highway or standard notation and tab. However, it has no note detection capabilities at all, it's good for practicing but not scoring. I use it to practice my standard notation reading so I don't get stuck just being able read Rocksmith note highways.

Ah ok, no note detection, still pretty neat that tonelib exists though never had heard of it before and interesting you both have it!

Well, that will be up to whomever decides to do the week at july 24 :P (still a ways to go 10 weeks). Sure hope so cause that song is a classic/ would be enough of a heads up i think.

I am not sure when was the last time we did odlc as seems like that column has been missing since week 528 🤔
but before 528 seems like last time we did odlc was in week 296 with - rush- working man (way before my time)
Its news to me as I thought we only did cdlcs, probably wouldve used some odlcs for guitar hero weeks i did back then had i known buuut i also know its probably better to use cdlcs just so that we dont make people spend money.

Since I've been participating in the championship (about 6 years), we've never played ODLCs. If you see a song in the list of songs played that's ODLC, it's probably because it was CDLC at the time of selection, and then ODLC was added to it in the store 😉

Just got back from a trip, glad I won't miss out on all these songs 🤩

Think I need to adjust my neck for the season, strings are sky high since I last noticed and the heat is not letting up!! 🫠

Excited to see Chevelle and Breaking Benjamin in a few months 🤩 never seen Linkin Park or Nickelback live but hoping someday 😁 heard Electric Callboy puts on a great show, too

Thinking of Chris Cornell today 🕊️ I had tickets to go see Linkin Park in Citi FIeld in July of '17, that concert never happened, and we lost two incredible musicians 🙏 RIP

I really miss the last played, tuning order, reminder to change tuning and hearing the bass louder than the music (and some friendly configurator, maybe playing a super simple song to fine tune the gain, latency, tolerances)

I really like the possibility to play psarc, sloppak, importing tab (and generating CDLC with midi 🤩)

Lots of potential but still some rough edges due to the initial stage of the project

I don't have that menu shown in the Docker version. I think that the Docker version is more basic than the desktop version(s), and it doesn't support the whole amp plugin ecosystem. I'm running the simpler Docker version because my Mac is too old to support the Mac desktop Slopsmith, and because the Docker version gives access to the source code so you can mess with it (via Claude Code).

As I remember in R+ they solved those DMCA questions with covers. Why can't we have the same solution here?

The pitch detector code was completely ignoring notes underneath 50hz which means that some lower bass notes were getting cut off. I lowered the cutoff and increased the sampleRate of the detector ...
