Finally back! I’ve been a bit busy, and then lately I’ve been messing around with Slopsmith. Honestly, it’s super fun. Note detection definitely needs some work, but isolating instruments and muting the original guitar is a blast. I have a feeling it’s going to be amazing in a few months. Anyways, here are the screenshots!

Not much time to play this week, I was at the Metallica + Gojira concert. I played a few things today, but first this 💥

Nickelback that doesn't sound like Nickelback 😆

This is quite easy in my opinion, similar level to Electric Callboy. Granted, you have to strum fast, so maybe 4 is ok. Other than that, the tones sound great here, kudos to the CDLC creator!

Very nice song, it's the first time I've heard of this band.

This surprised me, because I knew BMTH from a completely different vocal style. I didn't know they had such a heavy sound on their earlier albums.

This is exactly what I mentioned last week. In such a situation, the host of the new week (in this case @cacahuate51 ) should ask you if you'd like to take the win and level up to that class. I think that this information used to appear when creating a new week, but maybe I'm remembering it wrong.

So, I assume you want to take the win from last week and compete in Masterclass Lead from now?

Yea i think the winner thing is bugged cause it didnt mention luzifer but did mention foo being a pretender winner for masterclass eventhough he didnt submit a masterclass submission and didnt get 99+ on a 7 or higher so i ignored it.


But anyways, lemme know luzifer and ill switch you over if you choose to accept the masterclass win/promotion :)

Rhythm

This is even a little easier for me than Electric Callboy, because in the EC song there is a part of quickly skipping power chords on frets 1-4. It's probably similar in Lead.

I haven't followed BB music in a while. I used to listen to them a lot, but then a lot of the members left the band. This is still ok, but not the same as great albums like Phobia.

Improvements

Judging by the Spotify listens, this is a truly niche band. And that's really nice, they sound a bit like Rush here.

Bass

The same ultra-fast licks as in the guitar paths, and it's even harder to do quickly on the bass. So this is an 8 despite the easier rest of the chart.

Terrible hammer on/pull off recognition...
