I appreciate everyone's patience, looks like some permissions issues and glitches we had to sort out before I could make everything work, hope to have it much smoother in the future and now I can load up the song list with more suggestions too.

yeah, the octave parts seemed harder for steely dan, since it jumps around pretty fast,  the lead part for the guess who, while maybe more complicated but easier for me to play imo because it stayed in the same box.  I could see them being swapped.

No thank you. I play bass just for fun.

nice starter now not sure if the timing goes out a little  but its not awful got 97% in test so happy 

Great song never heard this before spoiler octaves surprise at the end

I recently added a few songs with an MC rhythm to the suggestion list, because such suggestions are missing the most, and I see it quickly came in handy 😉

Besides, I've already tested all songs from this week, so I'm pulling out the scores I managed to find from my archives.

Rhythm first

Regarding Lead, I see that I rated Int and Adv songs both 6, but I don't remember the charts, so I'll check again which one I think is more difficult.

My first time participating lol. Btw i used score attack because i couldnt get the speed 100% to show up in learn a song. I read the rules about using score attack being allowed so i hope im ok here 🙂

Lead

 

@ Hikikomori  Ok I checked Int and Adv songs again and I agree with @ Rodman  that they should be swapped.

Steely Dan chart is based mostly on double stops and is quite repetitive, but it's difficult to get a high score in Rocksmith due to slides and recognition.

The Guess Who chart is more diverse, with riffs and a solo, so I think it fits better for the advanced class.

Not sure what you mean,  you  don't have to have 100% speed showing in learn a song 
That Is just a RS Mod that lets you easily change speeds  correctly with a key bind

First results (Bass):

It seems like i messed up the audio ingame been getting alot of misses when i hit the notes not sure whats going on. Which is why i avoided opeth cause i want to try to fix it before diving in 30 mins of just misses. Anyways, thanks for the selections hikikomori and for hosting this weekend 🙂 



I like the song but not a fan so much of the chart, imo minor things could be updated to improve it. I remember it being one of the first randomized songs it picked for me years ago.



not sure which one is "easier" but if i had to choose, i think the octave song  (steely dan lead path) is more 100%able with practice and cause its shorter. Glad that pavs updated it! wasnt able to play previous version but i did enjoy the current version and am gratefull for when charters update their work!
Edit: just noticed rodman and mikson had also suggested the steely dan song being more for int so i agree with them

I don't like 2 things in the song:

• Intro we had to listen to everytime;
• And variable steps between transitions. I mean sometimes we change positions on count 4 and sometimes not on 4. But I might be wrong in 97.85% about it and there's nothing "variable".
