Hello everyone. Week creating is harder than I thought actually. There's a lot of songs. A lot of choices. And at the sametime seems like I have nothing to chose from.

I think the rating of this week's songs is correct everywhere. Except "The Clash" Bass. I would give it 5.

Be'lakor yes! My suggestion was added about 2 years ago and I haven't played this in so long that I can't wait to try this again!

I tested this quite recently and this seems to me that the bass path wasn't that easy, so rated 6, but you can always change the rating a bit, anyway, we'll see how other participants rate this.

This is what happens when you try to sight read on SA and have never heard the song - you get a strike.  That section is crazy btw - I think that would push the rating up at least to 7.

 

 

Ok so today I decided to revive a dead project I had done about a year ago:

The playlist will be updated every Saturday along with the actual championship songs

It is sorted with the help of Spotify's new key feature ( some are not gonna be in the keys it suggests cause the camelot scale is just minor/major, some artists use more complex scales or change keys in the song etc. but it should be a good start)

It starts in 10a/10b which is B minor/ D Major and descends to 1 and then 12 11. I decided to make it start off at 10a/10b because its supposedly the scale with most songs that's been submitted. 

Fun fact 10a/b is also the one with the most songs in all the guitar hero/rock bands/rocksmith music combined.  But it could be that the ai just says its a 10a/b when its not sure xD

It might be more helpful for the organizers / just another way to find different music (I still recommend you guys to test the songs) But maybe it inspires someone to create a week that's by "scale" .  Else I guess its just a way to see what others have submitted as a suggestion and play it at your own time since right now there has been above 700+ songs submitted .

Unfortunately, in Jaco's CDLC, sync is whacked after the intro, on and off. Which is kind of critical for that kind of track. Of course, you can try to force your way through it, playing to the chart instead of the music, but it feels like crap. I would suggest replacing it with something less sloppy.

Good selection. I would only say that the beginner bass may be higher because of the 12-16 stretch (got a lot of misses from not being detected).

I believe Be'lakor is reltively easier than The Clash, even if it is quite fast.

i think its 100 though  unless the psarc has 100 glitch but i know it aint valid 😞

I actually thought vodkas original rating of a 5 was fine for this song so a bit surprised people said higher. It repeats alot and theres nothing too challenging.
I do think that the chart could benefit from different anchors fhps cause it doesnt seem to be consistant on the slides like in the intro or in this section which makes it seem "harder / more awkward to play" imo:


personally i move to the 2 lot sooner than it recomends but fhps are always subjective. 

To me they are both very intermediate songs /could be same rating. Belakor one would be more annoying to 100 though i think just cause its longer so i think the order of how it is atm is fine.

You highlight some good points there in regards to FHPs, they are enforced a bit random throughout the chart. Bear in mind that when I charted this a few years back, I didn't pay attention to that stuff. I'll try to make an emergency update and adress those FHP issues on the bass side tomorrow.
