 I saw it in Loutubes stream and thought it'd be fun 🙂 Glad you are also participating! just make sure to take a picture with the streak aswell for future images and score attack will be yourfriend for anything with a decimal so if you get 99.8 in standard mode it gets rounded down to 99 meanwhile if it were in score attack it stays at 99.8.

 

 

 

 

 

Honestly, I had no idea that so many people involved in creating CDLC had their own bands, recorded their own songs, and then created CDLCs for them. Until now, I only knew about SpArTon band, whose songs we played in the championship. It's amazing that there are so many talented musicians here!

This is probably my favorite this week, great chart, the tapping surprised me but luckily it was quite easy.

Great instrumental, I especially like the intro parts.

Since this site is filled with musicians thought it would be neat to have a selection of songs that have been made by them.
The idea came after playing snowshovels + djpavs cdlcs from their own bands 🙂 I asked around discord and messaged some creators to fill in the gaps and i appreciate all of the people who helped me out/ responded!

After looking around and testing cdlcs, theres tons of producers/artists on here that have their songs made into cdlc so I couldnt add them all for this week. If you have the standard version of the game you can also play Don't Stop by Crimson.  She was a twitch streamer before and managed to get her song in the game.  If you like paramore I think you'll enjoy the song.


I can't confirm if upon infliction actually uses this site, but its the hardest song i could find (i was running out of time/ its getting late) 

The bonus lead masterclass song seems like its in Drop G  so make sure to use a drop pedal  if you have one. Mine broke so i couldnt test it but the song and the other one he has on the site sound good to me. Reminds me of beried alive mixed with DOOM / Loop Hero  (Video Game Music) 

No idea how to rate kentucky fried rats since its so short and only 2 sections but i enjoyed it alot (biased cause i like kfc,rats, chromatic riffs lol) .

I might change my own ratings later since i tested songs different days so i havent played them all in a row yet. As always let me know your own ratings to balance it out.

what about the female singer in your song daydreaming? I dig it. 

Did some more again, THO I gotta say about the Unto The Locust album is that there are some half bends and harmonics instead of pinch which makes u miss A LOT. Especially during the last song and the solo, it got me to like 1x score so I was close to getting a X mark , same with the first song in the album there's some wrong notes. Idk but that is an issue for me. BUT I loved playing through the album again 😂 This is the last thing I will play because now I need to relaaaaax. Take care all of u and goodluck to the rest ❤️

My hands are completely out of control. I just returned from vacation and I need another vacation from this vacation. So I think I will lazy last part of the week and will not participate until next week.

Her name was Orion Lake! That was the one little "ballad" I ever wrote and I had the idea when I was doing the album about how funny/great it'd be to have a female singer make it a love type song and wedge it into my "death metal" album. As the first album I did was intended ot be the ONLY one I did, I felt I needed to include as much of my work as I could.

I caught a bunch of flak from friends who couldn't believe I did that lol. I then pulled a second twist by having a second person record vocals for the song, so there is a version titled (Julian). His is more of an "Alt rock" approach (ala Alice In Chains etc...). If you catch the lyrics, her version is about missing him, his version is his side of the love story and how he is glad to be done. 

I thought it was a neat duality and could show just how different a song can be by just changing the vocals style etc...

Hey thanks for checking it out and the kind words!

Tapping is my nemesis, I thought my playing was decent but rocksmith said no on those sections. 

Rhythm

This is hard, looks more like a lead than a rhythm for me, except there is no solo. Instead, it has tapping, so a strong 7 or 7.5 for me.

Ahh, I can play the riffs quite well, but I can't play those fast-changing chords...
