I had already played this... I discovered Disturbed from the Sound of Silence performance on one of the TV Night shows. 😍

But it has some of my pet peeves: drop tuning, pick and low frets (0 - 4)...  So it's going to be challenging 😅

 

I think I can only play this at maybe 80% speed 😅

The white disconnected cable - auxilliary antenna for wifi and bluetooth that gave me absolute hell (own fault - did that when replacing the original M2drive with a 4Tb one)

but..... i am back with my coolest laptop so far (find the cool feature 🙂 )

 

so ... short week for me as tomorow i´ll have to leave until sunday again.... but next week - back full force with a cover. Please someone - call a song to cover!!!!!!!

Also very neat, i have never seen a screen under a laptop keyboard that did blow my mind. Always good to see different technology out there.

huh interesting, well do make sure to leave a number as i cant average words 😛


I tend to put songs i can 100 % in beginner hence why i rated it 3.5 (aka high beginner altho the table  kinda puts .5s in the upper class so idk ) .

To me it seemed pretty repetitive and like i mentioned in the main post theres only some sections where i can see people may need to riff repeat, like the am shaped triad or the transition to the yellow notes. but i personally thought it was doable/ think others can pull it off if practiced.

I have noticed others had a rough time so i could have underated it. Although i do think sometimes first tries can be decieving as perhaps maybe you werent expecting it to be that high in the fret board or its not your playstyle or other reasons.  Regardless ill make sure to balance it at the end of the week and it's good to hear feedback 🙂

np! i had fun diving video game search tag in ignition and recommend anyone to do so aswell as maybe you find something you wouldnt have ever played before/ find a game that might interest you. 
forexample  Dood gave me some info on discord channel 🙂  apparently the gog song i picked was featured in beatmania. 

 its basically like guitar hero but with a keyboard and a vinyl like dj hero lol ( atleast thats what i relate it to) . But yea if i ever see it at an arcade ill make sure to test it out now.  And im sure theres more gems out there. 

Anyways i would also be curious in your guyses favorite videogame music/ if it has a cdlc.

mine is probably 
hollowknight (great piano soundtrack, mostly dirtmouth /city of tears)  and here ill be waiting for silksong to release but it most seems like ill wait forever
and deadbydeadlights theme song (mostly cause ive spent way too much of my life in the menu loby waiting for a match, it used to be in ignition but its not anymore and i cant find it in my cdlcs 😞 )

I love Europa Universalis 4, fell in love with Sabaton because they are in the soundtrack! Love DBD too, great game but I get so scared 🫨. I was obsessed with Resident Evil 5 as a kid, too, absolute cinema. I gotta see if they have Rocket League.. List goes on and on, I never thought to look up the music!

An interesting theme this week, but I admit that I don't know these soundtracks, even though I've played quite a few games so far.

 

This can be quite inconvenient for beginners.

Short, so quick improvement.

After the short ones, this seemed a bit too long to me.

Hard

This song is in Lead class, but there is no Lead path, so I assume we are playing the Rhythm path as Lead (I don't see any annotations).

Hard, but not much harder than Halo 2.

 

Been playing this one for quite sometime as it's an amazing song. This and the Geoffrey Day version I hear on Doom Radio on YouTube both great versions of the original halo overture.

It's the B and E string - Fret 15 & 13 then straight after is Fret 15 & 17 section that tank my score & throw me off they sound so fast when trying to play it 

Anyway I just managed to get away from the 86% after so long trying and getting to 90.1%

Practiced it a bit more. Also just remembered this song was in gh3 as dlc was fun to play.

Intonation is off but too tired to fix, high E is iffy rn loving this song anyway!

Objection is "easy to play" but, wayyy too fast to execute for a rate of 2.
I had to give up for Lead 100% speed since, I had to juggle between 3 positions (First finger at either 5-8-10) and I can't keep up with the reading....
For Rhythm, I'm currently playing comfortably at around 80-85%, 90 is accessible, 100% : I have to cheat and skip the finger at 13 and maybe play it by ear.
