Hi Daz,

Could you share what you do for each?

I am starting to walk away a little from Rocksmith to focus more on training, normally I have an hour to 2 hours to play on an evening I'm focusing on playing 9pm - 10:30pm or 10pm - 10:30pm on training whilst the last half an hour is left for Rocksmith playing the championship.

Thank you all for your help. I've been playing since the very first Rocksmith and I feel I should just be further in my guitar journey, though I am my own worst critic.

If I were in your position I would take a real teacher. That's their job.

a few random misses. but the main problem for me is last section. it is almost the same as main bridge. but a little different. and this difference can't get into my head.

lead's solo  can't do at all.

Oh I have had teachers I think about 7 so far, 5 in my old town (only one was good), then 2 where I am now. I think it's a lack of structure.

It felt like i was shy that one. How can i not go butchering that manifest? Can´t... not.

Well me on 2 guitarlines, the bass, my daughter doing vocals in 2 takes.
First time i programmed the drums in Reaper, some mixing.
I especially had a lot of fun with the solo... i wanted to get it really radio-unfriendly, and that didn´t take long. It´s really easy to work on something like that when one exactly knows what to do, and that is not me.

It's great that I managed to win all paths last week, I don't remember the last time I managed to do that, the level of competition has been very high lately 😉

I haven't played much this week so far. First Lead scores, tough battle with low tunings.

Here, this beginning and ending is more difficult than 3 in my opinion. Fast riff above beginner level.

Fun but recognition wasn't kind to me.

Nice riffs here.

This week, completely opposite to the previous one, there is a song in class that is completely not my style, so I have no chance of winning again 😆

It would be Impossible to go in-depth here on the whole thing but basically

1.Right Hand 

holding the pick/ picking technique
down pick, Up pick, alternate pick. 
on one string, on adjacent strings on Non adjacent strings 
all with timings of 1 to 10 notes per one two and three beats
hybrid picking 
classical style P-I-M-A

2.Left Hand

Classic form
Spider exercises
Trills
Ladder exercises
X-patterns
Chromatic scale and movement patterns
Pivoting 
 

3.Scales

1.Major Linear patterns and on all string groups
Major  5/7/14 positions and pentatonic's
extended long patterns scale-tone forms  4 and 5 notes per string 
all scale sequences intervallic and numeric 

Then do all this again for the Melodic harmonic Minor and hungarian minor
And any other scales you want to learn

4.Chords
Open chord
Barre chords

triad practice 
chord scales 
jazz 12 chord memorization

5,Ear training 

Sing all scales and harmony's 

6.Arppegios

Learn patterns for triad arpeggios
then 7th 9th 

7. repertoire  
work on tunes you know and like 
learn fake book tunes
transcribe tunes and solo's 

This just scratches' the surface of what there Is too learn .

who was my teacher for a while sadly he passed away a couple of years ago .

Woow I am amazed, how??

I have been trying to make this one but it just sounds scrambled and I don’t even know how to salvage it 😅

There are some exceptions like festivals (cause there are so many performances that a good one can erase my memory of a bad one) or a handfull that sound better live than on cd but those are rare. 
 

Yes, this was weak, it looks like the vocalist didn't get there with his voice 🫠 But from my experience I can say that I was happy with 90% of the concerts I've been to. And some bands like Rammstein do such an amazing live show that listening to records can't do it justice. Although I've mostly been to concerts of very well-known bands who approach it professionally and have experience, I suppose that in the case of lesser-known ones you can more often come across duds 😆

Well to be fair when those artist perform badly its mostly cause they tour and then get sick or their voices just give up on them.  Or cause they forget their parts or just human mistakes so sometimes its ok cause then you know they are actually playing live and its not all just tracks but eh.

i actually did see atreyu a couple years ago at a festival, they were ok 🙂 . They actually had some beef before that for some years cause they were in hiatus and the drummer/singer made his own band called hell or highwater it had some decent songs and potential but im glad they joined back/ was able to see atreyu live atleast once. 

I found it interesting that the last couple shows ive gone to they specifically have a prerecorded message to not record or upload any part of the concert. you would think bad promo would still be good promo but who knows. It is odd aswell that even shows with thousands of people without the message that yt doesnt get flooded with live shows but maybe they get copyright striked/ taked down? cause sometimes bands just dont have any live videos on yt but yknow someone must have some old footage. 

Btw @ cacahuate51  this time i can say the bass is harder for me than usual. I guess mostly because of the speed? So i guess higher than 3?

Yea ofc! Everyone goes on different paths so some songs might be easier than others thats why I ask for peoples ratings to average it out to hopefully be more balanced.

 Just name the song and a specific number instead of "higher than " would be appreciated. That way I can actually do an average when i change the values on friday. I assume you mean alestorms bass? since electric is 3.5.

Tried to work on "Becoming The Bull" solo in the end of lead part. I didn't expect to play it. It's so fast. Just wanted to try.

I started with 10% speed in RR. Slowly speeded it up. Somewhere on 20% I figured it out. "OK just play it like this and this. Sounds right." And everything was just fine. But on 60% I broke myself. I "overminded" how to play the part on 1st and 2nd strings with pulls and hammers. I just "Stop! How do I play it? Let's take a look closer". And that's it. I stopped to understand everything.

Really like the song. But this week just isn't mine.

Don't know if I can improve it much 😅
