I've not been around for a couple of weeks as I had to have an emergency operation and only got out of hospital  yesterday.

Thanks @ cacahuate51  for using my song selection for MC bass! I discovered japanese funk thanks to the championship!

I'm hoping I'll be able to take part next week!

ahhhh I love this song, this is the best I could do in a short time. But straight into the favorites so I will catch up one day ;D

 

@ johnal  the recognition app should be able to differentiate between the original version and the metal one, using the author

I investigated the reason of misses were wrong detection of my 6th string in open and pressed states. Open string - OK, pressed - miss. Retune by pressed string - open miss. I had to place the tune somewhere in between.

But finally RESULT!

Bass

This is harder than 3.5.

And this? Oh, this is definitely not a 4, no way. I'd give this a 5.5/6 and rather advanced class. It's basically the same chart as in lead, but we've already discussed about it before and determined that the same chart for bass path is rating higher than guitar. There are a lot of bends here that need to be hit quickly, which is not easy on the bass.

Yes 6/6.5, I think that's how I rated this once. A few quick licks, otherwise not too difficult.

Hmm, this seemed more difficult when I played, so I was surprised by the score.

This is really tiring for the hand. I'd give this a 8.5.

 

Solo destroys me every time, too high level for me... Now I think this is a bit more than 7 diff. Congrats to everyone who reached 90+ here.
