I agree with @ MaZtoR . Never understood Gojira, not my cup of tea. This one has the gallop very tight, and very difficult to do properly, and for me this set it to a 8.

 

Beloved guardians, I know every bit of this song (in my head, not on the guitar) and I'm always singing the notes while I'm playing it 😄

This version has a really low volume on the default tone:

I used to play another version of it, this one (https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/9286) that I see now was used in w368. There are some differences:

 

Unlike some of the faster songs this week, not as many notes to allow for making up for a few mistakes... 

kinda funny they say since "when is motley crue classic rock?" when thats a band i considered classic rock xD...and they were good enough for them to be featured as the main band in a movie (hot tub machine) when the characters go back to past to make "home sweet home" their own song.

 i guess its the equivalent of people saying blink 182 is classic rock nowadays and ive frowned with that comment (cause even though they are good it just feels like they are too recent)....  classic rock must be another way of saying "best hits of rock" so both are valid


intro riff reminds me of something else but cant really grasp it...i was thinking it might be dethklok but the closest song i could find was go into the water at 0:52 onwards...maybe a theme in a show/movie/videogame...idk..im pretty sure theres another one out there more close to it ...owell...

3, I agree.

Difficult intermediate. I would say 5.5, but this could even be 6. Nice song by Johnny Cash. I haven't played too many of his songs here, probably only this cover recently.

When it comes to Gojira, I join to @ MaZtoR and @ avastreg club. It's not my cup of tea either. Their charts don't have what I like, i.e. any melodic riffs, solos, etc. It's hard for me to rate such a chart, I would give this maybe 6.5, but I this can also be 7 because of the speed.

Here's the best explanation of what I meant above. There are some nice melodic riffs here that I like.

However, this CDLC including default tones that are terrible and cannot be heard at all... I don't understand CDLC creators who can't add any normal-sounding tone to the CDLC they create. I will have to improve this in DLC Builder.

As for the rating, I think this is a clean 8.

I thought it passed something like 5 years I was last time here (profile says 3). A lot of things happened. My son is grew up and going to school this september. And I almost stopped to trying to be a rockstar. But why?

It was damn fun! Yes I will never play as good as excellent people here. So what? I still can try. Can make fun. Even if nothing goes perfect. Just to play. For myself.

I reviewed CS from time to time. Downloaded songs. And didn't play 'em. It's time make it stop. And to play!

These Gojira and Blind Guardian are tough on the right hand for sure.  I am going to be fairly mediocre this week.

Rhythm

Oh this is quite fast, I would give this a little high diff rating (5.5-6 maybe).

This is a little faster, but not much harder than the BD song. I think 6.5 is the max diff.

@ Rodman  I don't think there is such a big difference in difficulty between BD and Gojira songs that the rating would differ by 2 (5 vs 7). I think 5.5 vs 6.5 would be more appropriate (or 6 BD vs 7 Gojira, because Lead and Rhythm charts of the Gojira song are almost the same, so they should have the same rating).

Yeah I remember here was another raccoon-like guy. And if I remember it right we challenged together from one week to another. Or may be it was someone else (Immediately admit who it was!).

 

So lead part of soup makes me hurt a little. And RS makes it painfully with nice detection how could it always 🤣
