I haven't listened to the cramps for years! great choice of songs @ Mikson

 

Happy new week! Gonna post some attempts in the coming days. 

I just wanted to improve the Blink 182 song by Riff repeating the arpeggios, but sadly the CDLC author didn't put much thought into splitting the song into parts that make sense I might just skip learning the song and work on something else this week😕

I think CDLCs like that should not be included in the Championship, a major part of it is to improve over time, and riff repeating in-game is one of the easiest and most fun ways to learn a part of a song. 

I wouldn't mind fixing the CDLC myself but I don't know anything about the whole process yet 😅
Flagging nominated songs that have some issues that have to be fixed before they can become a championship song, might be a good way to do it in the future

Oh I didn't notice that. CDLC was still on the song suggestion list and I didn't see your comment on Igniton about using CDLC in the championship. We must pay attention to removing used CDLCs from the selection list. When using a script, this is done automatically, but probably not everyone uses script.

in w494 i got 98 percent so we improved 😎

Love Devin Townsend, that Artillery song is very not fun to play though

It is a  honor to be promoted, i do think it will be abit (too) difficult so i will play both intermediate and advanced for the following weeks to come for now and see how it goes.

Thanks for hosting and good songs once again this week! Gave the goo goo muck a go already!

Got some work to do on this one.

First scores for bass this week. I'm definitely going to need to riff repeat these!

@ BubbleWrapDragon yea i agree, i prefer it when songs in the competition have decent riff repeater, itmakes it easier and more inviting/friendly to practice it/get better scores.

Again... since i dont have a windows pc anymore i might be talking out of my butt... i think cfsm tool fixes rr sections. it just recreates a psarc with more sections... i believe you can also achieve this by using the dlc builder tool, you drag the psarc into the application / switch some riff repeating settings in the config page and then repack it and youre good to go......buuut since dlc builder is no longer available for my mac os i can't confirm this.

or alternatively you can also post a comment on the creators cdlc (always nice when people let the creators know any issues imo)..sometimes they are responsive and update it sometimes they are away..doesnt hurt to try tho
