Is there a way to lower the volume of the Claps? It's really aggressive and I often can't hear the music anymore. It's be nice to be able to pan it left or right too -- I'm working on a bass track right now, in the song it's panned to the right, so it's be nice if I could pan the claps to the left.

  2. Started by Xyber,

So it's been quite a while since I have made any songs now and I'm currently making one in Drop C so for instance a simple chord on the first 2 strings should be a C5 but for me it's showing it as A5 instead (so it gives me the names of the E standard chord). I have the tuning set correctly in EoF and I can't find any setting that can help me correct this. What to do?

Hi, I imported my tabs from guitar pro 6. The tabs are almost perfect to the original published tab. Once imported in EoF, I added my leading silence. Doing so worked great for the beginning of the song (i only had to do minor adjustments) but at the end of the song, it fades out at 4:03 but I have notes rolling until 4:29. I am working on America's Horse with no name (I know it's a CDLC already availble but how do you learn if it's always done for you?) If you know a solution, that would be appreciated.

Hi there, I'm on my 3rd day working with EOF and had successes with 8 CDLCs so far and 3 that didn't work. But that's part of the learning process. I have 2 questions for you: 1- I couldn't find the answer to this basic question and have not yet started to play with features yet. What are the tabs at the top of EOF and what do they do? The "Supereasy, Easy, Medium, Amazing and BRE" tabs at the top. 2- There are so many awesome tutorials for just about anything. You guys have done a fantastic job. Being a newbie, has anyone ever thought of creating a troubleshoot document with common errors from users? For example, I made 2 while learning. For example loading the m…

  5. So my questions are... 1. How do I make a distortion for a song? Right now I'm currently making a full band CDLC for the first time ever using EOF of course. And I'm wondering how I get distortions on this? 2. How do I add sections in EOF? (So you can riff repeat) 3. How do I add vocals? 4. Is there an easy way to make difficulty settings? (I want to make Very easy, easy, medium, hard and Amazing of course is the one I'm starting on. But I meant, is there a way to copy and paste my Amazing track into easy, medium etc... so I can just delete a line at a time to make the difficulty easier?) 5. Once I've completed this, I got the difficult job of finding out wha…

Hi, I've just started out trying to make custom songs for Rocksmith and I've already run into a snag. When importing my song into EOF the notes are constantly off, like off by almost 2 seconds. Is this normal? Or does it have something to do with the mp3 file and the Guitar Pro File?

  7. Rebooted computer and had to reinstall EoF. Before, when I would save a file, it would automatically put the beat grid into the leading silence so it's easier to see when song starts in RS. Now it doesn't ask to do it and I can't find anything in the options to do it manually. Any suggestions?

  8. Started by Lichevsky,

Hey guys. I've tryed to make my own CDLC and got stuck with the EoF not creating .wav of source audiofile. It's ok with preview, but not with original. It should be created on loading new song to EoF, right? Ok, i've found out i should enable separate RS saving in preferences. It's ok now.

  9. I had to reboot my computer and reinstall EoF. Now, fret hand positions don't show up like they usually do (the red lines above the grid with associated fret hand position #). Anybody know how to turn these back on? Can't seem to find it on my own, duh.

  10. Hi all, I recently charted a song that is played on a tenor guitar. A tenor guitar only has 4 strings. To tune a standard guitar to match a tenor, you need to tune only the top 4 strings, the ones normally tuned to DGBe. The custom tuning to match a tenor guitar is in 5ths: AEBF#, respectfully on those strings. And then capo to the third fret. When you set the number of strings in EOF to 4, it colours them red-yellow-blue-orange. I thought this may be confusing, since in the song I charted you will be playing on the strings that are normally blue-orange-green-purple. So, I left the bottom two strings. Is there a better way to manage this, or some way to tell EO…

  11. Started by Azrael,

Hi everyone, I recently noticed in a lot of customs that the measures of the music are not in sync with the measures of the chart. This means that the first beat of a music-measure is not the same as the first beat of the chart-measure, but instead the 2nd, 3rd or 4th (in 4/4 time signatures). In most songs, chord changes happen mostly at the beginning of measures. It "feels" irritating in Rocksmith, when those chord changes are not accompanied by the thicker beat lines that mark the measures. It becomes even more irritating when converting a song with the RocksmithToTab converter. If the measures are not in sync, it will e.g. insert a pause at the beginning of the firs…

I created a 3 note chord. I checked the SUSTAIN box and scrolled up to give it 700ms of sustain. I switched over to tech view and created a STOP tech note on the top string of the chord 200ms into the sustain. It looks like it was written correctly in the XML (first and second note show 700ms of sustain, third note shows 200ms of sustain) <chord time="203.049" linkNext="0" accent="0" chordId="30" fretHandMute="0" highDensity="0" ignore="0" palmMute="0" hopo="0" strum="down"> <chordNote time="203.049" linkNext="0" accent="0" bend="0" fret="5" hammerOn="0" harmonic="0" hopo="0" ignore="0" leftHand="2" mute="0" palmMute="0" pluck="-1" pullOff="0" s…

  13. Started by Azrael,

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it would be possible to create an audiofile with a metronome based on the beat map in EOF. Playing with Rocksmith feels great, and there are a lot of songs I feel comfortable playing inside Rocksmith. But I realized that often enough e.g. fast riffs give me a hard time when I play them on my own without a beat, while they seem to work fine in Rocksmith (where I kind of flow with the beat^^). As a similar issue, once I start lowering the sound of the music and increase the volume of my guitar, I realize that I don't sound as super awesome as Rocksmith made me think I do. One problem for me is that I have difficulties keeping up the beat …

  14. Started by Bardic,

So, I have created 3 songs for Rocksmith. The first 2 worked fine as a psarc, the first was very simple (no DD or riff repeater), the second had DD and riff repeater phrases and still worked, but the third one crashes and the game closes every time I try to play it. The error is c0000005 (right after tuning my bass). Built it first with the bass part, vocals, DD, and RR phrases. Since that failed I have tried taking out the vocals, the DD, the phrases. I also started fresh and just copied the notes from the old project but left out everything including timing other than the main bpm. Added silence to the beginning. Tried a different MP3, re-encoded it to a lower bitrate…

I have searched and couldn't find anything. Hope do I make repeat lines after a chord? Right now it shows the whole chord line multiple times even though the chord is the same.

so in GPA sync there the Snap to peak option if the mp3 was an instrumental shouldnt you link the note to the start of the sound or is it better to sync it to the peak of the sound? what is more precise?

  17. Basically, all of the Rocksmith related options in EOF are greyed out (no part_real_guitar, etc). Is there any way to fix this? Cheers.

using r1341. I think i added an no-guitar section somewhere. The next thing I've noticed is that pretty much most of my sections/phrases are gone. Is there anyway to import all the sections/phrases from a previous backup eof file? edit: i think i forgot to save my recovered eof file and computer must have crashed. Anyway, loaded up the undo/redo info from the last date before today and it looks like everythings back.

  19. Started by nasents,

How do you do this? Every time I put a slide to open position it turns it into an unpitched slide for 1 fret. I need to slide from 7th fret to Open. Thanks,

  20. So, I have a custom that crashes RS2 every time. Sometimes it's the speaker/no highway kind of crash, other times it's a crash with a windows crash window pop up. I've uploaded the project files here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/528fy0rlyw04pb4/Dream%20Evil%20-%20By%20My%20Side.rar EoF gives me no errors, except for one bend that has no strength value, and will thus be exported as a half bend.

I decided to add lyrics to the bass cdlc I'm doing. The learning process overall is going smoothly. I'm figuring out most of it. One thing I can't seem to fix: I have the bpm all set, bass notes match up, work fine in RS. I do the same for the lyrics, they all line up with the markers, highlight when they are supposed to inline and the sd preview. However, in RS it's highlighting one word later (early?). If you wanted to sing along you'd have to sing the word before the highlighted word. thanks

  22. Started by bob64,

You know how you have to set which lines are "together" by using the lyric line marking too? You know, so it knows when to show a given string and it highlights the words/syllables in eof? Well, I hate how you have to ctrl-m it again if you tweak a word length or move it to an earlier/later position. So my suggestion: Can you change it once a group of words/syllables are marked as a "line", have it automatically change the CTRL+M highlight to match any modifications to the length of the word/syllable "notes"? Argh, I'm not sure if I'm explain things clearly enough, so let me know if you need some pictures to demonstrate what I'm talking about.

  23. Hi, Just wondering if you might consider adding GPX for the import option in EoF I have been working on some songs that have double dotted rests and notes but when exporting from GP6 to GP5 format I loose the double dots which throws things out of sync here and there when I import the file into EoF. Or can anyone offer a workaround that I can use to substitute the double dots within GP6 so everything is in the right place when exported to GP5 format?

  25. Hi, I'm trying to tab a "delayed slide" in EOF and it's just doesn't work. I want a single note sustain for some time and then an unpitched slide. How should it look like in EOF?
