I am getting an unusual glitch. I made this custom song: https://www.dropbox.com/s/onjvoz7hcyvrmma/Umphreys_Miss_v_p.psarc?dl=0 It was working fine for a while, but I made some tone edits and then when I went to test them out the song selection screen freezes when I select the song. But not crashing, I can still use the letter keys to sort the song list, but cannot do anything else. I've tried everything I can think of. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I've synced this twice in ultrastar and I'm not doing anything different from the other zillion songs I've done, yet I keep getting the error. I've tried removing apostrophes and leading spaces from the syllables, and nothing has worked. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get EOF to save tone changes. I've already tried looking at countless tutorials and troubleshooting guides but I still haven't been able to fix it. I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong but I feel like EOF is suppose to save an XML file with the tone changes but all I get is an eof save file. Is this my problem or am I doing something else wrong?

Hi, I'm kind of new here. I've had Rocksmith for 360, pretty much since it came out. I just got a mini PC so I could get customs. I haven't created a custom yet, but will try my hand out with something easy. However, there are a few customs that are out there that I'd like to tweak a little bit, for myself (and possibly share if anyone is interested and the original creator doesn't mind). I've been updating one of my customs, and all has seemed to go well, up until I save, close EoF, and reopen/reload the notes file. All of my changes are undone, the beat offset is back where it was prior to saving, and my effort ends up being for naught. Any explanation/purpose for this?

I don't know what button I pressed, but yellow lines appeared on the beat marks in my editor, and whenever I grab a note, the 'hitbox' for the note is strange. I'll have to move my mouse sometimes off the note to grab it. I can also only move keys to the beat using the bracket keys, as well as manipulating the note trails, I can only move it to a beat marker. I tried a fresh install, by replacing my EoF with the base version of it, but nothing really changed. Thanks for any help.

Quick question: The EoF project folder, outputs 3 .mid files: notes, notes_gh3, notes_ghwt What do these contain and what is the difference? Does for example the notes.mid contain all the notes from part_real_guitar_rs2? Or all instruments in one? I've found out it contains all instruments, sometimes it even shows more instruments than I have in EoF. How does this happen? Also all the instrument tracks are shown the same in Synthesia, how do I know which track in synthesia is which in EoF? Thanks in advance

Never had this problem before with the dozens of CDLCs I've made. When I go to import my Guitar Pro file I choose to import Time Signatures then it just freezes. Task Manager doesn't say EOF is not responding so I'm a bit confused. Tried re-exporting to a new GP5 file and tried copying and pasting the tracks into a new GP file (and re-did all the signatures). http://imgur.com/a/AYEIq Left part is Acoustic, right part is with distortion, by importing 1 by 1 one of them erases. How can I import and fuse both together?

I recently bought a songbook so that I could do up an entire album by a band, and I've come across a lot of notes that are meant to ring out, without sustaining those played over it. Does Rocksmith support this feature, or is it not yet doable in EoF?

I bring this scenario to light because most times I use the MIDI tone in EoF for note-to-fret comparison, it uses a different tone each time I turn on the feature, which in turn sounds like an entirely different note than what would correspond with the fret position. My suggestion is to provide a menu in which the user can select from the various tones within the Edit menu so that the MIDI tone is not dynamically changed between bells, keyboards, or guitars. Alternatively, statically assign tones to be registered to the different EoF tracks (guitars to real guitar, keyboard -> keyboard, etc.)

I'm creating a new cdlc, but whenever I try it on Rocksmith I can see weird graphical artifacts around every chord (it looks like the colors of the notes get stretched vertically). I've already checked the chords details and everything seems fine. Any ideas?

Hi, I have two questions: When I change the BPM while synchronizing a beatmap, the measres after the one I am syncing use the same value as before the synch. How do I correct that. For example if the first measure is at 95 BPM, and I synch measure 8, it changes measure 1 to 94 BPM. But measure 8 and after are still at 95. Is there a way to have eveything synched to 95? I have a song that progressively increases in speed and I have to adjust at every measure, the way it's set up now. How can I make the metronome sound louder? It's not loud enough and I have a difficult time discerning the metronome from the song. Having another sound (cowbell, for example) could help t…

Is there a list of all the keyboard shortcuts in EoF? The manual lists them throughout but I could not find a single page I could print out and put next to my keyboard. Reminds me of all the shortcuts I had for Autocad a long time ago. Cheers

Just the first beat, then ignores all the other bpm changes from the gp files. The beat markers numbering is also off compared to the gp files. So i cant even look at the gp file beat marker numbers and just go there in EoF and change the bpm, since its off. I was hoping this was fixed, as i was getting bored having to spend ages having to sync the song, instead of it just importing the way it is written, then just minor sync adjustments if needed. Does anyone know of any modeling software that will work with EOF? the default tone that the windows driver gives is annoying beyond belief. All you other charters know what I am talking about.
