Rocksmith Remastered

I have been running Rocksmith 2014 on my current system since 2021 without any issues at all until just a couple days ago. I played it one night, recorded my play with Streamlabs OBS on Rocksmith on that night. Uploaded some of those videos to my YouTube Channel the following day. I have done the same thing for years. That following day though, I loaded up Rockcksmith to practice / play and all of the sudden, the first song I attempted played like normal for a short while then all of the sudden the sound cut out completely for a solid 2 or 3 seconds. Hello, I have Rocksmith 2014 Remastered Learn and Play Edition. I am using Real Tone Cable to connect the guitar to my PC. When connected, the guitar makes a lot of unwanted noise, but the most annoying thing is that when I play a chord and palm mute it, there is always 1-2 second "swoosh" sound before the strings mute. It's difficult to explain, so I made a video. In the video I first play and mute the chord when guitar is connected to amp, and there is no problem, so the guitar itself should be fine. I just bought this game on Steam today. After launching the game and logging into my Ubisoft account, whenever I reach the profile selection page, whether creating or selecting a profile, the game stops responding after a few seconds. Additionally, the CDLC installer says it cannot recognize the directory, and when I manually specify the directory, it returns an error.

I just installed Rocksmith 2014 on my Laptop and am having a weird issue. The game is cut off like it is running at 800 * 600 resolution. I can't seem to find an options menu to change the game resolution so I am not sure what to do.

Hi - hope this is an ok place to post this question... I have used this site for many years but have never had the desire to request a song until recently. I had two songs i wanted to request - the first one was good (got it added to what i think is the right place!!). The second gave me some trouble however... I was wanting to get the Bass version of a Sloan song called "Losing California". It is available for guitar, but not for bass. So i thought - ok, i can just request it for Bass and it should be ok, but the interface gives me an error because it "already exists" (which yes it is out there for guitar but not for Bass). l was just watching a streamer playing this song and then l looked in customforge (then on Rocksmith to check if maybe it was not a custom dlc song) but l cant find it anywhere. lf anyone knows where can l find this song would be much appreciated!

I had read many times that Real Tone cables were getting scarce, and 3rd party cables mostly didn't work for RS (in fact there's a lot of seemingly equivalent cables on Amazon with customers comments about them not working with RS). I've also read many times here about how Real Tone cables stop working after a few years, though none of mine have abandoned me yet. So eventually I now have 4 Real Tone cables. Hello everybody So, I played for the last time January 13; and today when I tried, all my CDLCs were deleted / not showing in the game. (And so it appears all my progresses are lost 🥹) They are in the Dlc files, and the last time I played, everything was Ok. Is there anything I can do ? Something happened in the last 4 months ? Good Evening All, I've noticed recently on my version of Rocksmith 2014 (it's running through Steam), is performing more poorly than ever, more stuttering. less stability, and the note recognition worse than than usual. IE missing alot more notes even on easy songs as a test, the tuning is constantly off within the game more than usual and I've got several tuners all say it's fine, it's just the game. Hi! I've installed the Steam Windows version on a Mac via porting kit, but the cdlc enabler is not working; it throws an error in Wine. So I wonder if there is a manual way of patching the game files to enable cdlcs. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm quite new to Rocksmith, so far learned a couple of Judas Priest songs and messed around with some CDLC. I really want to learn Seek&Destroy and downloaded the CDLC, but for the first time using rocksmith my gutar is really noisy in this song, if I let go of the strings the static noise comes up (it doesn't in other songs I tried or on my amp), and when I palm mute the 5th string I can hear the 2nd string vibrating as well and everything becomes a cacophony. I tried recalibrating while in the song menu but that didn't change anything. Tried lowering the pickup volume but it's the same. I'm using real tone cable. Is there anything else I can do to adjust…

I've made MANY customs before, but this is the first time the toolkit has come up with this error. In short, it reads: "Wwise audio file conversion failed: access to path '...\Rocksmith Toolkit\Template\Originals\SFX\PlaceHolder.txt' is denied." I've never had this happen to me and it just started doing this out of nowhere. Any ideas?

Probably a super noob question, but I just made my first custom, and at the beginning of the song the notes are offset like below. After this section it becomes more like normal charts and moves dynamically, but the beginning they are off. Is there anything I can do?
