Rocksmith Remastered

Hi guys, I am just beginning playing guitar (and don't practice enough being busy making CDLCs :)), and while working on a tab (Cake - The Distance), I saw this note : /0 (slide 0 slide) - how do I play that? - how does RS handle it? - shouldnt it be h0p? ...... beginner cries insert here ......

Hi everyone after syncing notes in EOF I' m trying to make sections and phrases. I have a problem with the first phrase of the song, at the first beat: I start a phrase there and I call it " intro", but when i try to save my work I get this message: "WARNING: there is no COUNT phrase, but the first beat marker already has a phrase. You should move that phrase becouse only one phrase per beat is exported." I recalled this first phrase "COUNT" and got no warning, but in rs there is something wrong, kinda the first section not showing. I couldn' t find infos about this. What shall I do? Can somebody explain me, please?

Have you ever tried learning a song, only to find out halfway through you're just basically playing air guitar with an actual guitar and ignoring the note highway? Yea, me too. :eek:

I did raise this in anvils forum , but never solved it. On RS2014, the game overall volume is really low, compared to other games / applications running on windows I am NOT taking about the guitar volume, but the general volume. The volume has to turned way, way up to get some rockNroll going, and returning to windows, opening a movie/vlc/winamp/youtube (or what ever), I am splattered against the back wall, because the volume is so loud... I know others have similar problems, but no one ever came up with a solution ... If anyone finds a solution, please post and yes, tried everything regarding soundcard settings, mixer.. alt-tab, checking steam volume and so …

Hi! When I play certain CDLC:s (the screenshot is from Wings Pt.2 by Tool), lyrics and that section progress-thing on top of the screen are severy messed up. It looks like my graphics card is glitching but this doesnt happen with official songs and most of the customs. So I finally finished the Custom Song I wanted for Rocksmith. However, after following the tutorial in the Sticky section, I was confused. One was, he mentions the use of tone's in the song, and add's some to the song in the Toolkit GUI. I have no idea where he got the tones, why he used them, or how you would even know what tone to use for the Custom song. Another thing I was wondering, if the song had multiple difficulty levels. I am not that great at the guitar, and I want people who are also learning to find it fun to play. If there are other levels you can add, how do you do this? Do you have to do it manually, or does the Editor add in the level's by itself? And a l…

Hi not sure if anyone else is having this problem but it seems that some CDLC songs will start up fine but when the songs is supposed to play nothing happens. The game doesn't lock up or crash, and I can see the first few notes in the distance. I can even bring up the menu to exit the song but the notes never start scrolling forward and the song never starts playing. The songs I'm having this problem with are: Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver Led Zeppelin - Good times, bad times Holy diver I got from a torrent, but good times, bad times came from this website. Is anybody else having this problem and maybe a solution for this issue? Thanks

Im at the point with Wwise did the convert than in the toolkit where you select the .wem file I dont have them, they are wav files. Any idea where I went wrong?

Okay, so I've been getting into creating cdlcs lately, so far, everytime I tried to do something I luckily end up learning more things about creating cdlcs (mostly EoF), so I've been trying figure out how to do the whole automatic tone switching, first of all, when I set it in EoF, do I have to use the same name as the tones I save for that particular cdlc in the tone designer or on the toolkit? and whether or not it is, am I limited by 4 tones per instrument/arrangement?

Hi Guys, First time poster and new member here since SA went rogue. I have looked into trying to do my own CDLC but I have no clue. I have been learning guitar with Rocksmith 2014 since November 2013 and having a ball. Is it okay to post a request to you guys who make these awesome CDLC's? My wife and I love Jeff Healey(RIP) and it would really blow my wife away if I could learn "Angel Eyes" from Healey's Album "See The Light". Anybody working on any of his songs for Rocksmith? If not, May I make a special request for this CDLC? Thanks for all you guys do and so happy that Customs Forge is carrying on where SA left off.

Just a thought. Anyone looked into converting the GAWD awful RB PRO content? Would seem to be a beautiful phoenix that could rise from that epic travashamockery of a turd burger. Some good songs in there just a calamity of poor execution. Sorry if I seem hostile... I have a $300 Rock BAND Fender squire and cable setup that yes you can "play" through an amp. The five plastic strips that separate each and every fret into 6 mini-frets really don't enhance the tonal quality per say. Would seem that the content could likely be distilled into something usable though?

Any bass players have a working solution for playing like Drop B , B standard , etc in RS? Not interested in emulating on a guitar or other methods of "fooling" the game. Literally about to run to Guitar Center and impulse buy in about 30 minutes. I have a 24 fret Ibanez 4 string SDGR I love. Debating the 5 string of the same make or a Baritone bass. Just wondering if anyone is actually playing (and working right) with one of these and any input on which would be a better solution

Hello, good to be here. I wrote a crawler for the original smithy anvil RS14 packages that mike used to maintain his sticky before the new sortings were available. Now I could TRY to program a crawler that will read all first posts of the smithy anvil RS 2014 board and automatically post them here (with contributes of the original creator). I can not promise anything because I don't know if some settings might prevent reading or posting hundreds of topics, but I would look into it if this is desired. Any official feedback on this?

I noticed that after I edited the description and difficulty level fields of a CDLC it appeared in the search engine as recently updated and in bold. I think it would be nice to restrict that to only occur when the author puts a different value into the version field.

So since I'm using DDC I have no idea how many levels there are to my songs. My guess is very many. How am I supposed to fill out that box since I'm not allowed to write something like "DDC 2.1 Default"? Perhaps there should be a check box next to it that you mark if you have used the DDC, instead of having to enter a number.

Hey, great work so far guys, im digging these changes very much, cept for one, up until today i used to browse the forums in the usual way i browse, well... anything else, now i cant and its one of those things that slowly drive me insane, you see, im a tab guy, and by that i mean, a browser tab guy, when im browsing through any section of the forum i like to hit CTRL+LMB to open a tab of a topic im interested, and it used to be like that i dunno if this was meant to happen but now i do the same and not only do i get the new tab in my browser but my original tab also changes to the location my new tab is in, if this is an issue im more than glad to wait whatever it is nec…

Hi All, I'm sure there are a few charters that have a fair number of cdlc's to input into the shiney new database (some with 100+) Is there any way that all the data for these cdlc's could be locally punched into a spreadsheet template of sorts, and submitted by the charter for a mass import?
