noticed i missed some screenshots so here there are + some updates.

If it were shorter i'd go for the 100

kept missing one note but atleast i got it :)

might've overated this one tbh, not that hard probably could do better if i rred it.

A little better, but far from great, kinda lazy to do the tricky parts

Really wish I would have done this on score attack, this was such a strong run!

A chart requiring quick jumps across the frets - 4.5.

Fun to play, the final solo sections ramps up the difficulty so 4.5/5.

Good chart, but a bit problematic in terms of recognition - 6.5.

In week 420, which I hosted, we played an old CDLC version of this song that was rated 7.5. The chart was very similar, so I think 8.5 is too high - 8 would be just right.

The slapping isn't too bad for me on this one, those hammer-ons up the neck though are something and a half.

I really appreciate when a band couuuld rhyme "undertow" into a track and choose not to 💀 guess it's not post-hardcore

I play on a Mac, so I don't think I can use drop pedal mods for PC - definitely would try those if I played on a PC. I shelled out for the red Digitech drop pedal, works great on bass as well as guitar (I didn't even know there was a blue one.) I play fairly quietly on speakers that sit on my desk, and I can hear the unprocessed guitar in a different tuning. I eventually learned to focus my attention more on the speakers and less on the sounds coming from the direction of the guitar - like an RS mod for my brain, and it's free...

I'll put in another plug for Tonelib Jam. It can read any RS file (and many others) in musical notation and/or tab, and you can play along at any speed including faster than the original (but you don't get scored for accuracy). It's not free, but there is a free trial. Here it is showing a section of the Primus song:

Although it doesn't do fancy separation of instruments on the audio trackj, it does have an option to play the lead, rhythm, and/or bass chart on a synth so you can in effect isolate any track sonically or mix it in with the audio.
