It was a really good concert by Jon Anderson, and I’m glad I went to it. He was in great vocal form for his age, and the band backing him was top-notch, too. They played some classics from the Yes old days as well as songs from his solo work that I hadn't even known about but really enjoyed.

Posting this so that mikson has to play the song again for the 1% 😅

Unfortunatley for me, both songs have pitched chord slides which I've never really gotten it to detect consistently. Will be curious if someone can get 100 though 👀

Being still a relative newbie to this lovely competition, my opinions on song difficulty ratings might not be that well informed 😂 But this one felt tougher than a 4, for me this was nearly on a par with the Porcupine Tree track from last week so maybe a 4.5 or even a 5. Really solid track though 👍

Have spent a couple of hours learning the Telula track bit by bit over the last day or so, ghost notes everywhere 😂

Revive Me from Winterspring must be a rating 1 (or even 0 if this exists lol) because this was on my first (and last for today) attempt. A very fun song to play along (thank you @Vodka for having submitted it! And get better fast!).

So very motivated by this extraordinary success, I tried the Mammoth one, which has some similarities to the Winterspring one IMO. I'll try it again because my second attempt at this one at a better score and longer streak but lower accuracy (I'll try to get all of them "right"):

Then still feeling good after this one, I went for BADBADNOTGOOD and it crashes on Score Attack Easy for me (I might try Medium or Hard or Learn A Song modes, just in case, but the way I usually go on Championship is start with Easy to get a sense of where I should go, and then increase difficulty. We'll see tomorrow. Note on Score Attack: sometimes, like today for Winterspring, I get worse scores on Easy and Medium because RS expects the fewer notes at a beat I'm not expecting in my head/foot and it throws me off).

There was a post about blues last week, I just looked and there seems to be some Bonamassa songs?

Might be able to push this a bit further but it's a tricky one to put it all together despite it being relatively short - probably an 8 for me (given the Vulfpeck one from a month or so back was an 8.5 IIRC).

yup! we've only had 2 songs from him throughout the weeks so I wouldn't mind bumping those numbers up if the cdlc is good. The last one was featured of valentines week 590 for gog 2 weeks

Back from the hiatus, (I'm still struggling with having to split my times over multiple hobbies and priorities), but I still want to enjoy the guitar and Rocksmith.

So this week result are :

Lead Result

Lead feels very manageable with lower speed since its on the same 4 frets all along. I need to catch up on the speed tho.

Rhythm Result

Rhythm is very repetitive, but I feel like my bar chords are pretty iffy since they don't seems to register well (especially on the 7th fret), I see that I tend to press with the side of my finger there.

So since last time, I had done a little School Band show as rhythm guitarist.
I started to play a little of drum and even bought an E-drum (Donner Ded-300)... which my practice slowed down since the end of summer class...
I cant seem to be able to dedicate more time to either Justin Guitar or any theory, I spend way more time listening to japanese music/games than anything else.
Lastly this season, I really want to focus on the maintenance of my house and my body.

@Knippenburg Drand pointed out you got the highest score for riverside last week out of everyone. Do you wish to be promoted to Masterclass and accept that win?

nice beginner song missed a note somewhere

this Is one hell of a workout for the fingers .I would give this a 5 just for the stamina. Had to change to thumb for a bit haven't had to do that for a while .
