Rise Against - State of the Union
Great song that needs adrenaline to play!!!
After a little practice, I can play decently the main riff at 95% speed, but the execution becomes a reverend mess at 100%!!! 🤣🤣 Anyway, having fun. Should try the Lead before the week ends!

I'm away this weekend so an early drop of scores for me, great selection of songs again this week!

I think I got hit by the same detection gremlins as @Vodka ...

At least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I have a bit of funny relationship with Rise Against. I enjoy listening to them, and I enjoy playing their songs, but I've seen them 3 times and felt bored out of my mind at each, can't quite put my finger on it.

Ah thats a shame! I have never seen them live yet but really want to. I remember finding them out from guitar hero 3 and playing their song the most.

They have a lot of songs that I enjoy/ i owned a couple of their cds but I guess lots of their songs do sound similar. Usually I think thats good but i do think when listening to them all in one go it just becomes a blur/ its better to have rise against in doses. Last one i owned was Black Market although i cant really remember a song from it/ didnt listen to it much. Looks like they have released quite a few even one last year!

Still wanna see them, even though so far its been 2/2 not recomended/ bad experiences (you + rodman) 😅

Rhythm

This isn't a 1. For me 1 is a chart that someone picking up the guitar for the first time can play after very little practice. Here, we only have two chords, but the transition between them requires a quick finger swap. It would be a 1 if it were the same chord shifted to a different fret, still easy, but diff 1.5/2.

Fair enough, i was also on the fence to rate it higher. I just wanted more 1s cause theres not that many and at the time couldnt think of a simpler track since it is only two chords. But yeah i guess there must be one with single notes or like you said same chord shapes. Also 315 is quite a bit of notes so yeah I'll up it.

yea if i recall the automatic recognition only does new posts (also would be a nightmare to go back to old posts to check if someone edited it) So its probably best to just post again (not really spam as long as you dont do it multiple times the same day although sometimes people do that aswell so whatever floats your boat :P)

Got it, so I will have to post again every time I get 0.1% more, at least 10 times per day each song jk 😅 I'll probably post once at the start and then do a final update near the end of the week. thanks for the heads up, and thanksss! 🥳 I really tried to get that 100%, but my mind kept screaming 'DON'T FAIL NOW!' and well, I failed 😂 and about moving to Intermediate for both lead and rhythm, I would say yes, for sure. I think it will help me improve faster, even if I have to sweat and cry 😅 I can’t promise I'll stay above 85% every week, but I'll try my best. my goal is just to have fun and one day reach advanced level and be as pro as @cacahuate51 😅🤪 and the other awesome players here 😃 what do you think, will it be worth it to improve? anyway you all seem very chill and kind, so I know I won't be mocked for failling miserably 😂

Like in rhythm this is a little more than 1.

For me this is more than 6. At least 6.5 or even 7..

Hello... here's my entries for this week.

A little observation on my state of the union play: it was a bit cheesed... as in, i was hitting the notes but it wasn't really sounding that good 😅. Still, i think it should be a high intermediate lvl, not advanced.

Hi mates, I think there was a little mistake and a mixed up in the spreadsheet 😅. my 98% scores on Lynch Mob (I haven't played that one in lead is so sick for me 😅) and Relient K are actually for bass, not lead. in lead, my best score for Relient K was just 91.7% (or just 91%). I don't want to be promoted to masterclass by mistake😅 I'm not that good yet, i need 10 years more 😅🤣. thanks for the hard work updating everything 😃
