I always assumed Lead was harder than Rhythm, but I seem to fail the arpegios or the odd chords (and this one seems easy 😱 )...

I just played this and you're right, rhythm is definitely harder than 2. Unfortunately, I had previously only tested Lead, which I rated 3, and the rating for Rhythm was probably left by the song suggestion author and is underestimated. The arpeggios here are easy, but still a difficult technique for beginners, so this is a minimum 3.5.

First Lead scores

Chill song, I like it. I feel the 80s vibe here.

And here's an 80s classic. Another well-known song that I'm playing for the first time thanks to the championship!

A good song from our forum rocker. However, I had to turn the volume down quite a bit to hear my playing – quiet tones in CDLC.

A great song as befits Iron Maiden.

I will try to find some ozzy songs for next weeks championship.

If others arent opposed and if there arent songs for the the different classes i could find songs from other artists who passed away or were born in this week/next week. Lots of possibilities.

I was going to suggest Hulk Hogan's WWF theme (Real American) thrown in there as the Hulkster has just passed, maybe a controversial figure now a days but back in the 80's and 90's, he brought alot of joy/entertainment to peoples living rooms.

ah ok, no wonder it was mentioned on discord by @ Emmy-Dell  . Didnt know it was a theme song/ he passed away recently.

Pop songs always start easy and then the bass player seems to think: "This is boring, imma start adding stuff" and then it gets real hard real fast 😅

Realized halfway through the first song that our AC is BUSTED so this is all I got this week I think (I'm terrible with heat), unless it magically cools down

Finally broke 98% 🤩

Finally got the arpegios without striking:

Also got to 90%. I think Rocksmith detects chords better if I only grip the neck when I strum (if that makes any sense 😅  )

Bass

I played this before but couldn't find a screenshot, so played again with improvement 97 -> 99.

I played this by accident, initially thinking this was a masterclass, just like in rhythm, and seemed too easy 😆
