Not doing any better on this one, i remember playing it on GH3 a lot on the controller, it's funny how many of the "easiest" songs on the game are so hard on the real deal. 

I was wondering, since the DLCs are not available anymore maybe it's time for at least the customs being made in the forum?

This is the only song so far where I can even get over 90% on guitar ....  the intermediate guitar songs are killing me this week

The lead seems to be the same as the rhythm (?)

Only fair that i give it a try since you played it! It's weird that it wasnt in my collection had to buy it on steam. I feel like i buy dlcs multiple times cause im sure i had it before. Can't find through the fire and the flames  or my curse either? maybe i just practiced on yt, I did find cliffs of dover tho.

It is odd the main riff doesn't have handshapes on either path, makes it a bit hard to sight read. Glad they didnt use the arpeggio function though.

If i practiced it maybe i could pass as their bass player! i still have hope. Open strings always confuse me in rhythm games.

What is pretty insane about this song is that they were all under 17 when they made it. Who knows if its a situation like avril lavigne where they hire people to write their songs but even if thats the case its still impressive that they were able to play it live .

I do wonder where all the new young bands are. The only one I am aware of is south arcade . They are a bit older though i imagine early 20s. (funny enough while writing this i checked the singers ig and she has the blonde character from gh3 as profile pic...so maybe not that young?)

I used to find indie bands / artists on tiktok but its been a couple of years since ive used the app, maybe its time to revisit that rabbit hole.
These are the ones i had found when I was looking back then (its been 4 years... time flies make it stop lol)  They were mostly mid 20s+ though. Good to see some of them grew a following.

Gave ''Freya'' another chance so I could get the streak number verification. Did a tiny bit better than last play but Rocksmith just refuses to register certain notes... I wish i had a drop pedal haha 😁 better luck next time !

Gave Nirvana a try while i was there. I think it's my first time playing Nirvana 🤔 Cool song !

Finally did it with only 1 strike! And above 90% 🤯

Somehow I find it easier to the the pattern on the A and D string than on the D and G string 🤷‍♂️

I used a shift pedal but had to down tune one step or the Rocksmith tuner didn't recognize any notes.

I never had any luck using my drop tune pedal on bass. For guitar its a lifesaver though, mainly because I never break strings tuning any more

I tried to play all the songs, and although I had played some of them before, I played them again.

Smells - I really don't know what's going on but I'm getting tons of misses in chord parts... I thought something was wrong with me but I see comments saying it's a common problem. I remember we played older CDLCs of this song in a championship once and there were no such problems.

@ cacahuate51  I was also surprised to learn that some later version of Rocksmith does not contain the basic songs 😲 I remember we used songs from the game a few times, look like now we can only use them as bonuses.

It was good to remember these songs, it's been a long time since I played them regularly.

I was able to get surprisingly good recognition.

@ cacahuate51  The Endless song (Masterclass Rhythm) doesn't have a basic Rhythm path. I only see Alt Lead and Alt Rhythm, which one should be played in the championship?

One funny thing is this video from some school guys here in Brazil playing the song at the school, the killed it so hard. 

 

Two small updates. Some chords on everlong simple don't are being detected right.

I use a 5 string bass, so for tunings like C# Drop B I just use the lowest string and tune up the others 😬

Generally, though, I have noticed Rocksmith thinks I play way better than I actually do if there are a lot of low notes. Sometimes I know I played the wrong note, or missed a successive note, and it'll still register.

ah thanks for pointing that out! I have updated the main post, Its alt lead.  Alt Rhythm is actually a 5 string bass path so @ MaltaSoron  can play if he wanted to. (thats why its tuned to B) Do not attempt to tune with a guitar on that path unless you want spaghetti strings.

This is awesome dude,  I keep striking out on this one.  Its a killer.  I think im only up to about 79% in Learn a Song.  

 

How many attempts did it take you to nail this?

I didn't nail it 🤣 and I striked on the easier part (that I didn't practice so much)

But I did 4 or 5 attempts at Learn a Song at 70%, 80% to learn the hammer ons and the best fingering and picking pattern. I still have to do it at 100% to get the rhythm and the transitions between sections. The good part is that there aren't many different patterns so it's doable
