Rocksmith remastered discussion (part 2)

Featured Replies

@firekorn  yep, I'm sure. There's an option in the "advanced" menu in song, and one in the "options" menu outside of the songs--both are for sure on. I haven't seen anyone on these forums who's had the master mode problem yet. I've contacted Ubisoft about 6 times over it and haven't heard anything back from them; so, I'm making sure it's not an issue caused by the CDLC.

I recall seeing someone in the original thread mention Master Mode problems, if I remember correctly, setting all Rocksmith Options back to "Default" fixed this. Though you'll have to obviously change any other settings back to how you want them afterwards. Hope this helps. I would never have noticed this "error" as I don't like Master Mode and would be glad if it never showed up. :)

Please discuss Rocksmith Remastered here. FAQ: Q: My CDLC doesn't work! A: For windows: Please use the new .dll | Mac: Please use the Patch. You can get both here For further help regarding customs

  • Guys! I finally FUCKING fixed it! I only had to Restore Default Options on RS2014 Settings.   Change all settings and options back to their original states.   I believe I had a problem because as soon

  • Talking shit doesn't help anyone, and could make matters worse. If they had set out with the intention to break CDLC, it would've taken a lot longer than a few hours to get it working again. Let's not

Hi Everyone, just trying to be of some help here.

THIS IS FOR MAC USERS:

Long story short: same problems with mac here, steam button works but not original rocksmith (I mean not Rocksmith 2014) songs, nor CDLC works, just stuck in the start of the song and have to restart the game.

RSInjector not working either, as I remember all the default folders, options, configurations and so on are in place, but, and this is a big BUT, I try to run RSInjector with "sudo" using the terminal to try to catch any system's message and a window appears with the message "Rocksmith2014.app not found!".

Some notes here:

- In my personal folder I've an Applications folder, here is an application with the name "Rocksmith 2014", note the space, the error message in the windows when I try to run as "sudo" is "Rocksmith2014" without a space (funny ah??!!!, and yes I've checked twice both names).

- If I try to run the app in my Applications (the "Rocksmith 2014.app") folder the app starts and launches Steam, after steam completely starts launches Rocksmith 2014 as if I started first Steam and then did a click on the Play button.

- I try to change the name of the file, change to the same location of the RSInjector, run RSInjector as "sudo" or as a normal user, and nothing works.

That's all, I hope that this could be of any help.

Thanks to everybody trying to solve this issues, pleas be hurry It's Friday now, the weekend almost starts and there will be no weekend without rocksmith!!!!

Just another edition to the I'm a Mac user and RS Injector won't start, worked fine last night but nothing now.

It's enough to drive a man to drink

Can't work with sudo as the game is installed for your user and not for root.

OH YES, You are a genius sir. Using the Reset to defaults worked! Ubisoft didn't even know how to fix it!!! The people on this forum really are smarter than them!

hi

sorry for the stupid question but ....

what is the situation on the 100 % bug? i got lost in the forum.

i see a new check box in the toolkit in the ddc section that fixes it and i used it and worked well.

did a couple of songs.

i was told there is going to be one button solution in cfsm to fix all at once.

any update on new rsinjector for mac ?? Been craving to play :(

To the coding savior(s) who resurrected RS for Macs over the weekend: T H A N K  Y O U! I'd type thank you a million times; but our mods/overlords may frown upon that kind of clutter.

Your patch worked flawlessly. I dare say my CDLCs are working better than ever since Remastered arrived.

This is an incredible community crammed to the rafters with talented people on and off their instruments. Thrilled to be a part of it, even if I am merely a consumer of your collective gifts. :)

Cheers 'n calluses to you all!

Could you post a step by step for your success please?  Couldn't get the patch to work on my end.  Thanks very much.

I'm not a coder and have virtually no experience with Terminal - so the suggestions in prior posts about adjusting the paths in the .command file, etc. kinda went over my head. So I stopped, deleted the old patch download and started clean using the instructions from this post:

http://customsforge.com/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/

...specifically steps 6 and 7.

I downloaded a fresh patch from the link. I'm assuming my RS game file path matched the one in the .command file because after double clicking it as instructed, Terminal fired up, and did the dirty work. Within seconds everything was done. Then I fired up Steam, clicked Play on RS (within Steam...there's no need for the old Injector app), and BLAMO - all my CDLCs were there and in fine playing condition. No crashes. No trouble.

I wish I had something more detailed to share/help you. Perhaps I'm fortunate that the process simply worked as expected.

Good luck!

Hi !

I´ve just bought and started to use RS 2014, love it!

BIG THANKS for the brilliant CDLC Fix, it works perfect! :plus1:  :plus1:  :plus1:  :plus1:  :plus1:

Best Regards,

I stumble to that one Custom RSinjector here in some furom and the DLL from Unleashed2k and i put all those file in the same folder in Rocksmith and wallaa! it all works.

As of now all the customs freeze the game. I've tried rebooting my machine, etc. I'm on a desktop PC using Windows 10.

The ODLC work fine, but as soon as a I play a custom, the game either stops at the "Play song" or as the song is loading. Drat.

I'm assuming this is a side-effect of the latest game patch. Hoping to hear if others are experiencing the same issue and when there's a fix.

@@HeadGofer there's no issue with the latest patch, make sure the dll is still in the right place.

Thanks Firekorn. I replaced the dll and it's working again. Don't know how the dll disappeared in the first place, but next time I'll check that first before panicking.

!

Every day I have to wait for steam to install the upgrade then I have to delete the steam folder and replace it with an old saved steam folder in order to play the old version of Rocksmith 2014.

I like some of the changes but there is one change I hate. I play on my pc and with the old version I can click my mouse whenever and wherever I want. Now I have to move my mouse to click the button at the bottom of the screen then scroll back up to restart the riff.

That got old real quick, so I went back to the old version. Seems that steam don't have it set up where I can turn off auto updates.

Talk about RETARDED being that we are almost in the year 2017.

Anybody else has any better Ideas on how to keep steam from updating?

Let it update, start steam go offline mode then rename your Rocksmith2014 (remastered) to Rocksmith2014-remastered and your original rs folder to Rocksmith2014 start uplay in offline mode as well.

By swapping folder names you shouldnt have to keep allowing steam to update rs as itll think it is, just make sure youre in offline mode in uplay steam can be online.

I'm not really understanding your post.

Where do I find the folder that says "Rocksmith2014 (remastered)?"

The only rocksmith2014 folder I see is in my steam/steamapp/common.
