I have also installed .net framework 3.5 Please let me know if you need anymore details. I am using "eof1.8RC12". Thanks in advance

  2. Hello, this is a problem that has been persisting for a long while. Is there a way to reduce the minimum distance between notes in EoF? I have been trying to tab out a tapping section with a lot of notes and every time I place the note exactly where it should be it keeps coming up with that abhorrent message saying the notes are too close. It's making me super angry and frustrated since I'm slowing the track down to a fraction of it's full speed and placing the notes exactly where they should go and the program is not letting me do it since it says the notes are too close.

Hi. I'm totally new to this and don't know any other tools. I just have a midi file that i want to generate a xml from. How can i import an midi and have it show guitar notes? I import my midi file and there are no notes. and save folder contains no xml.

  4. Im having trouble getting a song to run ? keeps crashing after the tuner. I think it’s something to do with the tab (originally gp7) converted to gp5 . can anyone point me in the right direction of what to look for please? most common reasons for this to happen ? I’ve created lots of tracks before and not had this issue . I do recall a pop up about 32nd notes?? Any help would be much appreciated.

  5. I used Rocksmith to tab to create a Guitar Pro file for a song I'd previously made. When I tried to save my EOF revison, it said this. Thanks for help.

I need some help on syncing of audio (MP3) and tab (GP5). Here is a video of my process, where I use Go Playalong's automated syncing feature, before I import anything in EOF: But I am not satisfied with the result. And sometimes the automated sync of Go PlayAlong does not work at all. I need help in this area, but it seems my ears are not up to the task. How can I get better? Can You give me Your tipps on - using Go PlayAlong better - trying anther tool - ...

So over the past couple of months EOF has been adding these new features that have been making my life progressively more miserable. I was wondering if someone could give me advice on any of the following problems 1 - First EOF seems to have introduced this feature where if you add a new note by right clicking the note remains highlighted. Seriously I hate this feature with a passion, I've lost count of how many times I've been trying to add a note and then accidentally changed a different note since it has remained highlighted. 2 - Whenever I add a new note it seems to be added with quite a long sustain. Previously the notes would be created with a length of 1…

  10. I've just switched from charting drum tracks in Reaper to EOF and have got most of the basics figured out, but can't find instructions anywhere for how to make a drum roll (usually on the green cymbal).

I think the title of this topic explains the problem. The subforum link in this forum category does not work. Instead of downloading the latest version of Editor on Fire, 404 not found stuff pops up.

Kind of a specific question, but has anyone had success running EOF on an M1 or M2 Mac via Windows (Parallels or Boot Camp)? Unless something has changed, my understanding is that the current Mac EOF build isn't compatible with 64 Bit OSX and likely never will be. My 2015 MacBook Air (Mojave) generally works fine for what I need it to do, but I will need to upgrade to current generation hardware at some point. Thanks!

Hi guys, I am a bit further in the process now with a CDLC creation and I hit a new error, where I cannot seem to find a solution. After I add my leading silence and save my file in GP7, I am unable to import it into EOF. It errors stating I must use GP5 format or older. I cannot see GP5 as an export option in GP7, only GPX and that fails too. Can someone enlighten me on how to get this imported? Thanks.

  16. Hi All, I am trying again to make my first CDLC for Rocksmith 2014. I have given up many times before, but really want to start making my own songs. My first issue is with EOF. I took the latest file eof1.8RC12+hotfix(9-26-2020). I do not see a seperate hotfix folder to copy/overwrite like I saw previously. So I just try to open EOF after extracting. It immediately says that I need to install Lame and Vorbis tools to use MP3. I do not find any instructions on that process and wnoder why I have this issue and no one else seems to mention this. I found a process to install Lame on my C drive and rebooted, but no change. Lame is also in the EOF folder. I can …

  17. Sometimes i make some small corrections of the cdlc or just copy and paste some parts from the second guitar to the other. I allways do this in eof direktly not in guitarpro. Then this bug happens to the camera / tab position , as seen in the picture! Can anyone tell me how to fix this without too much efford ?

I have a really good pitched lyric track in a Guitar Pro tab file. What is the best way to import the pitch into the EOF? Is it through a 3rd party program? The Vocals Tutorial list several formats that are supported... Which does everyone recommend? Frets on Fire Script (script.txt) VividLyrics Rock Band / Guitar Hero MIDI Rock Band Audition (.rba) file UltraStar LRC / Extended LRC KAR Pitched Lyrics (will prompt for a Vocal Rhythm MIDI file) Soft Karaoke ID3 Synchronized Lyrics (such as those embedded in an MP3 file) SRT Subtitles Guitar Praise XML format Jamband Rocksmith

  19. Hi all, I'm using EoF mainly to convert some Guitar Pro tabs into CDLCs. I'm a beginner when it comes to EoF, I mostly use the default settings. I just created a song list with the CDCLs I created and tried the "Non-stop Play" mode for the first time. At the end of the session, Rocksmith told me that my "overall accuracy" was 0%, along with 0 "note streaks", etc. The accuracy and other pieces of information are calculated correctly in the "Learn a Song" mode for the CDLCs I created. Any ideas on what might be causing Rocksmith to incorrectly calculate them in the "Non-stop Play" mode? Am I missing an important setting EoF? Thank you!

  20. As the title says. Any GP5 files I import have their repeat close and open parts completely ignored. Tested with this tab. The screenshot shows where the intro notes start. The Time signature is way off and the notes don't start in the right place. The whole intro section is 140BPM.

  21. I'm not sure how I did it but I accidentally made it so every phrase is set to the same difficulty, meaning that in rs2014 all the purple section bars are the same height. How do I undo this so the sections go back to having various heights based on the difficulty (amount of notes) of each section?

Hello in the xml export ( Version 1.8 RC12) , I only have this as this as information : <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <Bandfuse> <!-- EOF v1.8RC12 (9-26-2020) --> <title>Carpet</title> <artistName>Guitar</artistName> <albumName></albumName> <albumYear></albumYear> <tempochanges> <tempo start="0" end="0" tempo="120.000000"> </tempochanges> </Bandfuse> Is it possible to have the notes on the frets, their times on the song and their durations? Thank you very much for your answer.

The ability to import Guitar Pro files is grayed out and F12 does nothing. Thought I'd reinstall but the download page has nothing, Please help.

  24. Hi everyone, I'm new to all of this and just wanted to confirm whether or not I can add videos to EOF, of if this is even an option yet. If it is available, how can I implement this? Thanks a bunch.

  25. I don't know if this has been reported before, but I can pretty consistently reproduce this "bug" in EOF... While editing PART VOCALs, when I add a word or edit a word (Edit Lyric dialog box), then press OK out of it... if the next thing I do is a Shift + Click on a different word on the current screen, everything to the left gets selected. I don't think that's the intended action is it?
