Editor on Fire

Apologies if this has come up before but I ran some searches and they came up dry. I use my PC on my TV and I find the font in EOF's menus is extremely difficult to read. Unfortunately, changing Windows' (7) font settings has no effect, and there doesn't appear to be anything (already there, at least) in EOF's config file that I could edit manually. Is there a way around this I'm not thinking of? If not, it sure would be great to have the ability to change the font and/or size added in the future.

Hey Guys, I have a song with an intro which leads into the main song but these are two separate Guitar Pro files, is there any way to import these into Editor On Fire without overwriting each other? The obvious answer seems to just merge them into one Guitar Pro file and then import. Thanks.

Hello all. I'm going to try to explain the title to what I mean. If I'm holding a note on the 10th fret and I slide my finger towards the 12th near the end of the duration of the note without hitting the string, then hitting the 12th note and sliding down but not to any particular fret, is there a way to model this in EOF? How do you import ptb files into EOF? Im guessing I need to convert the file but I am hoping that is not the case...

I just tried to load up EoF after installing an Asus Xonar DG soundcard. EoF will not put any audio out through that. When I switched back to the onboard sound card, it worked fine. Any reason that might be happening or anything I can change on my setup? It's not a huge deal to switch it back and forth, just annoying when I want to load up the program. Currently running Win 7 if that makes a difference.

nevermind, it was just the regular bend icon. first time I noticed that copied over tough -------------------------------------------------- I copied a whole phrase section in a song wich had a lot of bends. For the duplicate part it still shows the icons under the notes for bends. So I guess the icons are just bugged since you can't copy tech notes anyway. Adding/removing new tech notes on them doesn't make them dissapear but they don't interfere with it either so it's not that big of a problem.

Is it possible to import this time signature properly from a gpro file? I can't seem to get it right. Time is always stretched out between notes, even when I import the gp5 time signature

When i convert my mp3 to Ogg in EOF i can only get 256kbps as a maximum about, and also when i try to listen to the track in EOF i hear nothing?? I have the newest version of EOF btw

Is it possible to author a slide after a sustain in EOF using GP tie notes? I have this Guitar Pro tab: http://i.imgur.com/HWW9w4i.png As shown in the notation, I want to sustain the double stop 5xx6 for a sixteenth, then slide to 12xx13 during the course of an eighth, play that double stop, then sustain again. It's a 'Shift Slide', not a 'Legato Slide'. However, when I import the tab into EOF, I get this: http://i.imgur.com/jIM0qlm.png As you can see, EOF seems to have read the tie notes as actual played notes, which I don't want. Most of it seems straight forward, but as I've been working on the song, I've encountered several things I've had questions on. If anyone could provide answers, I'd appreciate them a bunch! For hammer-ons, should I use the >Note>HOPO>Toggle hammer on, or should I instead use Note>Pro Guitar>Toggle tapping? When a chord is required to slide (in this case a power chord), I've noticed that after going to Pro Guitar > Slide > Toggle Slide Down, and then Guitar > Slide > Set End Fret, you're only given one fret to slide to for the whole chord. Not sure if this is the right section, but I am working on a bit of CDLC as a personal project and I ran into a bit of an issue: the last chorus of my song on the bass turned into one (very long) sustain due to (I'm guessing) an error in the Guitar Pro import and is incorrect. I don't understand the controls very well on this - all I want to do is copy notes from one section of the song to another. I can't seem to figure this out and the controls are a little messy to me in the manual. Unrelated, but is it me or are the Guitar Pro imports a bit fiddly with the BPM? I have to adjust them on a beat-by-beat basis most of the time in order for them to get anything correct. …

Hi, this is technically a game limitation but I thought the EoF forum was the best place to ask... Is there a maximum bend strength? In my recent Gilmour Solo custom one of the complex bends I set in EoF does not appear in game - well the note/bend appears but there is no complexity to it. At first I thought it was cause I accented the note, but there are other complex bends with accentuation in the same chart. I am now beginning to think that it is because it contains a bend strength of 5 half steps? Incidentally, it's one of Gilmour's massive bends in Another Brick solo. Hello! I need help. I tried to make custom DLC for RS14. EOF doesn't export Guitars and Vocal XML, and wav format audio doesn't appear too. I don't know how to fix it. Hope you help. ^_^
