Generated my first custom last night, got it in-game, & the first thing I noticed was the view of the neck zoomed all the way out. I did generate hand/neck positions on my last save, and there were 117 in the list for a 5 minute song. So during the whole song, the neck view didnt move at all.. I would love to make a list of songs that are playable at every difficulty level to make our jobs choosing songs a little easier. I'm trying to unpack a .DAT file in order to convert the song to RS2014. Since it's one of my favorite songs, I figured it'd make a nice way to get into making CDLCs. This CDLC is for the Velvet Underground's Pale Blue Eyes and was originally created by Dreddfoxx -- but he's not a member here and seems to have gone AWOL otherwise. I've tried to contact him, but no luck. The .DAT file sort of works in RS2012 -- it works in the "rehearse" part. But it crashes the game in the Riff Repeater. Also, there is no bass arrangement. Only a combo arrangement. And an XML for vocals. On the other hand, there's a folder for both bass and lead tones. But, when I unpack it with the…

I have a request to post some ps3 and xbox dlc of a song. Well I went back into the toolkit, loaded the file of the song all the platforms were selected. I hit generate and the only files I see are for mac and pc. Am I missing something here?

Hi, I found a youtube vid of "R U Mine" I am learning this tune and really liked the little improv that the user did @ 1:14 My question is if this is you what scale did you use? If they are not on here can anyone give me an Idea how to play it? I would love to start coming up with some little improv stuff and this might get me started. cheers

I would really like to contribute to this community by making custom dlc but I am really bad at syncing the guitar pro import to the audio. Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to add alot of 90's-2000's punk and ska to this forum if I can figure out this charting thing. I have about 15 years guitar xp and I'm pretty good with pc and I know this is prob a newb question so I apologize but I'm getting really frustrated and about to give up.

This happens to be me a fair amount with certain CDLCs. Others work just fine both ways. It's quite frustrating since score attack is a horrible way to learn a new song. Does this happen to anybody else? I can do the tuning and the speakers drop and the note highway comes up, but it never starts moving. An example of this is "Going the Distance" by Cake. I've found lots of others with the same behavior though. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I convert most of the CDLCs I download from PC to Mac format using Song Creator 2.4.1. I'm also using the RSInjector.app that I got from smithy anvil. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I am fairly new at this so please any advise would be greatly appreciated. I have extracted the .dat file using the toolkit. When I try to add the .xml file it reads eof out of date. Please help me get to the next step. Sorry if this is a repetitive question on this site.

Ok, Im working a song. I followed along with the mp3 and the tab from songster. They match up, when I use them both in EOF, the note are off on the tab. I am adding 5000ms or 5sec or silence and hitting ctrl-a and moving the notes forward to match, they first few notes match up then it all goes to hell. Am I missing something here? The tabs bmp is 60 at the tapbpm i get 60 on songbpm it shows 120, and either of those its still the same.

i don't know how to put riff repeater on CDLC. Any ideea?

Basically I don't know how to play this part in the solo of Any Means Necessary by Hammerfall. It doesn't seem feasible to me to sustain 3 hammer-ons on two different frets from one note, but that's how it looks from the shown tab. Second problem/question: When I just pick those (hammer-on) notes normally it doesn't sound as "full" as in the song, it sounds as if there is two-hand picking at the part in the song or something, it just sounds as if there are more notes being played there. Could someone clear this up for me? Am I hearing it wrong? How can I properly play this? I posted two pictures from the part in question and a Youtube link. Solo starts at 2 minutes…

The Rocksmith 60 day challenge.I think it will be more like the 60 month challenge for me.

I trying to figure out how to make a CDLC without it having the background song. I want to make lessons and exercises without the music. I am using Guitar Pro files when I import the tracks. I had to use a random Mp3 in EOF. Is there a way to remove the song? I guess I could use a silent MP3. If anybody know a better way or technique please let us know.

So I was playing Rocksmith 2014 yesterday. Been playing since it came out, and I put a good 63/64 hours into the game. I closed the game since the bass volume was low and it usually fixes itself when I restart the game. When I opened up the game and clicked on my account, it said the file save is corrupt and that I would have to start all over. I did a lot of the work in session mode and I don't want to really loose that. On top if it all, I created a new account just to test everything out again. When I restarted the game and clicked on that new account, it said it's corrupt and that it would have to be wiped. Is there anyway to prevent this? Is there anyway I can get t…

Hi guys, Currently working on a CDLC with 3 tracks including a "solo" track with very little notes, when trying to save i get an error message on the solo track :"Warning, there is no intro RS section, but the beat marker before the first note already has a section. You should move that section because only one section per beat is exported" what I did is adding section for both bass and guitar tracks checking "section exclusive to track" and added one section only in the solo track. Could someone explain to me what i'm doing wrong?

As topic says, it appears that recently submitting DLC entry does not add tags to autogenerated topic. Also there is no clear place to report such bugs. Which also means it's not possible to filter by tags because it's imposible to filter DLC entries by tags, only Forum/Videos show up. Will tags be added to search database?

I have done Blitzkrieg Bop to 94% my problem is not by hitting the notes correctly, my problem is I lose the grip of the pick so it comes in a wrong position. I hold the pick exactly like they showed in the video on Rocksmith, but I always lose the grip.

I see a lot of CDLC for Rocksmith 2014 but most of it is for PC and I am a Xbox360 user. I don't think the old way (Rocksmith 1 PC to Xbox360) conversion no longer works. Just wanted to know if someone could point me in the right direction for a tutorial. Thanks!
