Hi everyone, as you may know I have been working on a few songs with my little free time and have been doing most of my charting manually due to issues with GP sync. I've been told changing the tempo and beat markers is the way to go but this results in the sync being further off. The original tutorial dealt with manual entry and not GP. If anyone could make up a video tutorial using and syncing GP it not only would be greatly appreciated, but I can almost guarantee you that the number of submissions to the forum would increase, certainly from myself. I have four songs in progress that are on hold due to sync issues. Thank you so much in advance, -k

I'm wondering -- do I need to specify fingering for every note? EOF keeps complaining, gives me warnings about the fret positions every time I save. Then it tells me that a note is outside the range of the position, but doesn't tell me exactly which one. I'm tempted to clear all the fingering and let the chips fall where they may...

I have most of the rest of CDLC creation down, but I'm still clueless on doing the lyrics. I followed a small tut that was part of a full CDLC creation tut, and the steps didn't work for me at all. So I'm really not sure what I did wrong. Is there an in depth tutorial anywhere on just the lyrics? Thanks!

I would like to show only the tabs with dynamic difficulty (1 difficulty level is too hard for me!) but still order them by date added.

Has anyone had any problem with string noise with RS 2014?? RS 1 has no string noise, It sounds great through my pc and what ever speakers are hooked up or headphones but RS 14 has terrible string noise. I"M surprised I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem.. Any body know how I can fix this? please let me know!! thank you fellow rockers >> :cool:

Can someone explain to me how to notate slides in EOF? All of the slides in the custom I'm working on are truncated -- they all start on the right fret and I can see the slide symbol (in Rocksmith) but it doesn't show the note the slide is supposed to end on. Does this mean I'm supposed to add a second note after the slide note in EOF? What I did: - Place the note on the starting fret for the slide (Example: 6th fret) - Use the ProGuitar menu to label that note as a slide and give the slide to fret (Example 8th fret) So, what I am forgetting? Am I supposed to put a new note at the 8th fret?

I've heard other people having problems with RS, but mine has been problem free until now. I have RS on both my desktop & laptop.I only play RS on my laptop because it is hooked up to my big screen & soundbar.The song Friends by Zeppelin is tuned in Open-C. When I bring this up on the desktop and go into tuning it is displayed correctly.When I try playing this on the laptop the tuning is incorrect. I know this is on my end and has nothing to do with the song itself. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever seen this problem, or knows of a fix. Hi everyone, I don't know how people play some validated songs, but based on the RS original songs as "milestone", many custom songs seems out-synched (like all metallica from rs2012 and 2014'd). So I'd need the most simple step to step re-sync process (I used search, nothing usefull, and the full process of creating the songs is heavy and doesn't help me that much), from *.psarc file to *.psarc . Optional is a way to higher the volume of guitar in final file (nightwish songs have guitar track that fits perfectly with the song, but not high enough to have a proper return/feedback). Thank you

Hi folks, I'm almost finishing one CDLC here, but the sections and phrases don`t show up on song preview, or during the song. If I enter Riff Repeater, I can select all the sections, and also the difficulty, but the just don`t show in the top. Any idea what's causing this? Thanks,

I done some customs here and I try to look and make sure some one has not done the one iam doingbut I keep seeing custom I done being done again so is it cool to do custom that is all ready posted with out saying something is wrong with the one you doneor is it just not looking to see if some one has done itI like to fix my custom but I need feedback not a different ver. of the songI am not saying that my ver. was used but if no one get feedback on custom songs and just post there own ver. when it all ready postedjust have hard time doing custom if someone is going to post it in couple daysthanks

Honestly - is it possible to create quality customs if you don't know how to play the song to begin with?

Heres my work flow. Tell me if Im doing something wrong. once I have the tab from songster and the mp3, 1 I open the tab in Go playalong and spend time synching the notes to the mp3, 2 I export that 3 Open EoF, load the mp3 add 3000ms of silence 4 Load the xml from GoPlayalong and adjust the leading note of the 1st track (guitar) 5 Add section names 6 Load the xml bass part, I have to adjust the lead note of that too. I then go through the song and some of the notes arent syncing as I had them. I was doing an Opeth song Windowpane and the bass line was all messed again

As Someone who is just beginning guitar, I am left unsure as to where to start with so many great songs available and more coming each day! Where would you begin? What are the top songs that beginners should look to play first? Are those songs currently available as CDLC or in the original song list? Thanks for your answers! Running through my first custom I found there were a lot of insignificant chords being listed on the top left of the highway.. I don't know if these were imported from the .gp5 or if it's a function of EoF to name anything with more than one note played at the same time... Is there a way to get rid of them? If I click on the note/chord then go to NOTE / EDIT NAME, I can rename it fine, but if I try and clear the field and press ok it gives a popup box asking the question "Apply automatically-detected chord names?" with the options "Yes/No" If I select yes, it goes back to default name (the one I don't want to show) If I select no, it goes back to default name (the one I…

I just got done with a song, threw into the rs 2014 started playing fine, but some of the fret markers were tall skinny lines running from the runway. Anyone ever get that? I only checked the bass part in Learn a Song and Score attack.
