Hi, This is my first attempt at creating a CDLC and have been following the tut by SkepticSquid (thanks SS). I'm not having an issue with the process as such, but it seems that the Guitar Pro file has a differing leading space and because of this I cannot get the fingering to synchronise with the music waveform. The song is Ed Sheeran's Small Bump and after importing the MP3 there seems to be a leading 2250 milliseconds of quiet. Because of this when I import the Guitar Pro file it starts 2250ms too soon. Hi all, The vast majority of the custom posts title are "song title", but a few also show the artist name in a grey frame before the title, how is that done?

Track / Rocksmith / Popup messages -> Are these meant to export to display in-game? Or are they just an EoF note/message system?? I wanted to use them to tell the player to switch pickup configuration but do not see any of them in-game.. They work fine in EoF :-) I only require one single lead tone for the song, however, the tone does change via the use of a typical 5-way PU selector switch, so I have Neck+Middle PU, Bridge+Middle PU, Neck PU, and Bridge PU used at different times.. Could I insert a Tone Switch event that would display in-game describing the PU combo to switch to without actually changing the tone designation for the track? Or would I have to m…

Hey, it seems I get a lot of issues with RS not recognizing the notes I am playing. Am I the only one? I am sure it is not my playing and it happens with custom an original songs. I also use different guitars. I tried a hardwired compressor to boost the signal but it helped a little...any suggestions or optimization tips concerning this problem, it is annyoing?

I'm looking for suggestions for slower songs that have already been made into CDLCs. In the official RS2014 set, there seem to be only two -- Love That's Gone and For a Fool. Now, I like to rock out as much as anyone. But on faster tempo songs, either the speed is beyond my current ability (I can play them, but still make too many mistakes at 100% speed) or they're just too easy (power chords) and therefore not all that interesting in terms of learning new techniques. I am half way through my first custom, Joy Division's Leaders of Men. Should be a fairly simple song. 2 guitars and bass. Just got the first guitar part synced. Many more to follow if this goes well.

Ok so I spent like 3 hours tab some sheet music, synchin it up all went well. I put into RS2014 and the bass is totally off. In EOF, I saw notes going on the E string, Now in RS those same notes are on a different string all together. Where could I have gone wrong? I used GPlite to do the arrangement, and while doing the bass part I noticed the staff wouldnt go passed E. I need low C (thats note on the 3rd lower ledger line right) Im not 100% familiar with bass clef yet. So after some tweaking with the clef it sounded dead on in GPlite. In RS it sounded like a 3 year old strumming the bass following along.

Guys - A little help. I install the dll in the rocksmith folder, move the psarc into the DLC folder on my computer. I can see the song and get to tune my guitar but the song never starts afterwards, what am I don't wrong?

I'm hoping someone can get me going in the right direction. I've been trying to find info on my own but I'm getting pretty lost. I had never heard the term jtag or rgh until I received rocksmith for Christmas and started wondering where to get the songs I saw others playing online. That led me to the other site and now here. So my xbox is about 5-6 years old but the system settings say it is dashboard 2.0.16547.0 . My kids play on xbox live, do they update automatically? If I understand correctly these can't be jtaged. Is there a way to reset it to the original settings? If not can I still go the rgh route? The only thing I want it for is to play rocksmith songs, …

Why are some notes in Session Mode filled in, while others are hollow?Are those filled-in notes suggestions on where to go next?

Hi. Am running OSX and have been following various tutorials on how to create CDLC content, most of which are either assume you've got the applications already installed, or assume running on PC. I saw a post or 2 on SmithysAnvil from mikewiehle regarding Wwise for OSX, indicating some sort of solution but nothing that made a great deal of sense, mainly pointing in the direction of an SDK.. Can Wwise be installed successfully on OSX? Care to share details of what worked for you? Tx.

Can someone explain to me how to notate slides in EOF? All of the slides in the custom I'm working on are truncated -- they all start on the right fret and I can see the slide symbol (in Rocksmith) but the Rocksmith doesn't show the note it's supposed to slide TO. Does this mean I'm supposed to add a second note after the slide note in EOF? What I did: - Place the note on the starting fret for the slide (Example: 6th fret) - Use the ProGuitar menu to label that note as a slide and give the slide to fret (Example 8th fret) So, what I am forgetting? Am I supposed to put a new note at the 8th fret?

Finally finishing everything on my CDLC, I now want to add DD, however I need phrases to do so. Can someone recommend an easy way to do this? They way I do messes up the difficulties in the song, where if you lower the difficulty setting, it brings entire parts down to a minimum.

I was gonna download some dethklok cdlc back at SA when everything happened... I dont know if the cdlc will get posted here so if anyone has it Id love it if that content can be shared. Thanks in advance

I'm having a hard time when quoting comments -- I usually don't want to quote the entire comment when responding, just a line or two. But when I try to erase the rest of a quote, it'll usually erases everything. Is there a way to make this easier?

Hi, I was wondering if you guys would consider adding a 'followed' (CDLC followed on the forum) column to the CDLC search now that the DLC search and forum are sharing the same database. The column could look alot like dd, and have a check mark if a song is currently followed. This would allow us to sort our search by 'followed' and 'last modified', which would allow us to find updated songs easily which we previously downloaded. Thanks,

I unpack the songs the same each time but some of them do not show up. I've made sure they are the PC version and restart everything. Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks

So I am finally finished with adding the notes to a CDLC I want, however, I now want to add lyrics to it, but I have no idea how. The internet didn't really help, so here I am. Also, how can I make and set custom difficulties, so there are many levels of difficulties, instead of the three or four the DD makes.

I'm getting ready to chart a rhythm track, that's really just strumming on a few simple chords. One thing I hate about Rocksmith though, is that, if the entire chord is displayed, it expects you to hit every single string, otherwise you get a miss. But that's not how 'real' guitar is played -- a lot of the times, you'll vary the way you hit a chord, not always hitting all of the notes. So is there a way to display chords but somehow trick Rocksmith into accepting only partial chords?
