Issues

There is a note in this arpeggio that slides from the 4th to 5th fret and in game the finger position is still showing to hold down the 4th fret. Is there a way to fix this?

I bought a new Dell G5 PC (now about 2 months old) mainly for the purpose of porting leisure activities from my Mac, and a large part of that is RS. Problem is, it won't work: it doesn't seem to know that the cable is plugged in. I understand that this is often a power issue. I tried all the ports (legacy style and new, to the extent that they fit the cable USB end directly), no dice. Plugged in a StarTech USB powered hub (ST4240USB), no dice. I rebuilt my PC and changed the location of the Windows Documents folder to my D : \ OneDrive\Documents\. I had an issue with my PC and had to format everything, when I installed Rocksmith again, this happened. I am colorblind, so the colors make a huge difference for me. And it only happens in the Custom DLCs, if I play an official Rocksmith song, the colors are as they always were... Can anybody help me? Thanks a lot!

why is this happening? i cant launch the game

Hi. I have Rocksmith 2014 pirated (the SKIDROW version). Cherub Rock is in my dlc folder. I think the cdlc is freezing because I'm not using the D3DX9_42.dll file. But whenever I do put the D3DX9_42.dll file in my root Rocksmith 2014 directory folder, the application won't even open at all. The directory is just in my downloads folder -- I didn't install it through Steam or anything (like I said, SKIDROW torrent instead).

I've installed the latest version but upon launch I'm getting the following error: Unhandled.Exception Access to the path C:\Users\MyUser\Documents\CFSM\Tagger\templates\motive_bl\Background.png is denied. I've tried to delete the CFSM folder and reinstall but cannot get past this point before the software closes itself. I was trying the competition song (The Cult - Outlaw), and it didn't work. So I was recommended to use this CSFM to fix the song. I used the fixing thingy... and started RS from CSFM, and it couldn't find my cable. I guess it's because it uses the standard Steam file, so it quit and tried again using my "NoCableLauncher". And now this doesn't work. So now I can't play anything in the game! This is very frustrating. I didn't want to use CFSM in the first place, but now nothing works.

For some reason, some CDLCs show up as ODLC when loaded into CFSM. Repacking them with the toolkit does not fix them. Doesn't happen very often, any ideas?

I am fairly new to using the CDLC, so pardon my ignorance. I have multiple songs in custom tuning I've acquired and have issues with the tuner when I try to play the songs. Most of the time I hang in E Standard but dropping below D drop C and higher custom tunings as well from the CDLC dont seem to work for me on bass and a few on guitar. I've dropped those strings to almost loose enough to change the strings for songs like Shadows on the Sun or a few Korn songs and the tuner never catches for me. If anyone has any solutions it would be appreciated.

Hello CustomForge, lately, I've been having problems with Rocksmith 2014. It won't put custom songs in even when I put them in the dlc file. I reset my computer a while ago due to issues so I had to redownload it. The dlc folder had no custom songs but Rocksmith itself had all of my custom songs that I have downloaded. If anyone knows something. That would greatly help.

I have Rocksmith 2014 remastered for Steam. I've have tons of CDLC installed that have been working fine until today...i reinstalled the games and CDLCs and no luck... Any ideas shy this is happening? Thanks!

After installing the latest version, and with the last version as well, rescanning does not find new CDLC; I can tell by the file count that the rescan only keeps rescanning the same list of files the program already knows, not all that's in the folder.

Hi guys: it's been a while since I added new songs and I'm maybe doing something wrong. I'm moving some new songs to the dlc folder in Rocksmith, and when I try to repair them with CS song manager, they stay as NotRepaired no matter how many times I try to patch them. Hi! I'm new. I know this has probably been answered in another forum, so if you respond with a link to that thread, that's fine. I've looked through the CustomsForge database for songs and found some that I'd like to add to my RS2014R. I can't find any way to get them from the online databse into my CDLC though. How do I get it from the CFDB to my computer? Thanks!

Hello ! i have a problem, i have work on some casiopea songs to creat cdlc for bass , i have created 4 cdlc , i have tested one by one , but now when i want to put these 4 CDLC's together, when i start the game only one of them appears the others are not in the song list in game , but they still are in my DLC folder (i have done all steps to include my customs dlc in the game but it still have this problem ) all other cdlc from the community is working ( more than 1500.. ) but not mine :( so if somone have a solution for this ! i just dont understand why the others dont appeared , its werid :/ (sorry for bad english im french ^^ )
