Note: If you are intending on using Custom DLCs on a PS3 or XBox, you MUST jailbreak your console first!
Hacking or jailbreaking a console is beyond the scope of what we are doing here, and if you are not comfortable with doing it, you may want to simply buy the PC version of the game.

JUST PLAY IT !

Hello all - thanks for the awesome site and content.  I'm pretty new to Rocksmith and want to load up some of the CDLC songs available here - I also look on the Anvil site (also awesome).  Here is my

I downloaded cdlcenabler to get cdlcs to work, but when I try to activate the program it displays an error message stating that the program can't find the location of my rocksmith files. Is there a solution for this?

Is your Rocksmith 2014 installation in the default location?

Try moving the enabler to the Rocksmith root folder where the .exe is and running it from that location. (You might have to momentarily adjust your anti-virus to do either or both. Remember to re-enable your anti-virus if you monkey with it.)

If that does not work, scroll back to about page 41 in this thread, on about Dec 23rd, you will find another solution.

No, I have all the files in one folder on the desktop.

I moved the enabler there, but the issue persists.

Page 41's fix is currently not an option, as user Nick Beat's cloud storage is apparently offline at present.

look on page 44, 29th of Dec, and read carefully. (remove no cherub rock from the name of the .dll.)

Hi

Yes, sorry, My NAS died and had to be replaced. I have a new one but won’t be able to post new links until this weekend. Apologies!

If the above does not work, after saving your CDLC, do a proper install in a Program Files folder where it belongs.

Here's the new link to a zip of several DLLs (I don't have the many-CPU version, note): https://os5.mycloud.com/action/share/f89cf224-05c3-4938-a134-243611445ae0

I'll go back and try to find the old link and see whether I can update it.

Good morning, I have a problem downloading the "CDLC Enabler". Every time I want to download it from your website it says it has been canceled.

"It" being what? your computer, maybe? Not sure why the website would say that.

If you go up a little, you'll see a link to DLLs I host on my NAS. You could try grabbing that and installing the appropriate DLL manually until someone is able to resolve your present issue.

„To” co? Twój komputer, może? Nie jestem pewien, dlaczego strona internetowa tak mówi.

Jeśli przejdziesz trochę wyżej, zobaczysz link do bibliotek DLL, które hostuję na moim NAS-ie. Możesz spróbować go pobrać i zainstalować odpowiednią bibliotekę DLL ręcznie, aż ktoś będzie w stanie rozwiązać Twój obecny problem.

I can't download it either, it shows me the message "Failed - Network error". I have Win 10 and I use Google Chrome. I have the same problem on Firefox and Opera.

Ok... I'm not a Windows expert (which is why I'm not offering more help), but it sounds like the issue is somehow at your end, as far as I can see. Maybe a virus programme interfering? I have just checked, and the link works just fine for me.

Let's hope one of my colleagues gets involved soon.

I understand, then I'm waiting for others' answers. Well, thank you for the quick answer. Tomorrow or Saturday I will be able to reply to your messages here again. Regards 🙂

It is a problem on your end, either with your Firewall, anti-virus, or Network connection. I used 2 different PCs, using Win 10, and Firefox I was able to download and run the enabler on both PCs "just now".

Ok, I've partially solved this problem.

I had to log into the admin account. Instructions below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfbMs3w-Z3s

After taking this step and logging in to the admin account, I had to disable all windows security and Eset antivirus.

So I could download your files from

https://os5.mycloud.com/action/share/f89cf224-05c3-4938-a134-243611445ae0

In the rar file, I only unpacked D3DX9_42OLD.dll into the game folder and changed the name to D3DX9_42.dll. Thanks to this, everything worked and now I can upload fan songs to play in Rocksmith. And now everything works and the guitar plays. 😄

And this is where I could end the topic, but one issue remains unresolved. After disabling antivirus and security features, I can finally download CDLC Enabler from the website:

https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/cdlcenabler

But I can't run it, which surprises me because I'm on the administrator account, which was previously hidden. With all available security measures disabled, I cannot run it. WTF?!

The best thing is that when I turn the antivirus back on and secure it, I immediately get an alert about a detected virus and immediately delete CDLC Enabler from my computer.

I had a similar situation a few years ago when I had to quickly learn pirated Windows 10 because I needed to complete a few projects for my studies. To make everything available, you had to use a pirated version of the KMSpico activator or something like that, if I remember correctly.
The problem was that Microsoft then fought against pirated copies by programming and introducing a code into its Windows products so that when Windows detected this activator, it immediately removed and blocked the possibility. It worked some time ago.

It looks more or less the same as now when I want to download CDLC Enabler. It is very possible that the greedy and rapacious whores from Ubishit (Ubisoft) reached an agreement with Microsoft to introduce a rule or code into Windows so that when CDLC Enabler is detected, it immediately blocks its operation and deletes this file as a virus.

In the end, rocksmith+ turned out to be crap, soaked in subscription sauce, and since the money doesn't match and music companies don't have royalties and profits, they resorted to such anti-consumer practices.

Also, thank you all for the information and willingness to help. And greetings to all the people and fans who will create this huge library of songs for download, I wish everyone the best and health. 😄

PS. Fuck Ubisoft

Not that I disagree with that statement, or your sentiments, but Ubisoft has no part in this. None. The anti-virus sees it as a virus because of the way it is compiled, go back to November 28th and read from this post;

Hi guys, I'm running into the problem where I cannot progress past the amps of my cdlc. I've discovered I do not have the .dll file present, but downloading and dragging those provided by Nick Beat don't work. Issues arose after running the Sonoma patch for Mac.

You are going to have to supply a little more information, as this leaves me confused.

I am assuming that you are running Mac, there for the reason you ran the Sonoma patch. Yes, you are using a Mac machine?

If that is the case, you need the mac patch and not the .dll for Windows.

Ah I thought this might be the case, could you point me in the right direction? I've combed the forums for a mac version but can't seem to find one. Thanks heaps for the help

You should wait for @ Nick Beat to answer this, I can not remember if they got the patch to work with Sonoma. He is the Mac guy with the answers. You might be able to find the answer on the discord server as well.

First post in this thread has a link to Mac thread:

there is also this Mac thread:

Sorry for the late response. Since switching to a new hosting provider, a lot of things get filtered to Junk and I'm not used to that (and haven't figured out how to whitelist either).

In any case, @ Sniper Reload3d  has it right, that's the patch you want. Works fine on Sonoma.

And if you run into technical issues from that point, I recommend going to the Discord server, #mac-os channel, you'll get the fastest response by the tech-savvy.

Good luck!

is it safe with the newer update for cdlc because it keeps being removed by antivirus programs. and says its a RiskWare.DllInjector as the detection.

Hello everyone,

I’m playing Rocksmith 2014 (CD version, non-Steam) on an older PC running Windows 10. The game is installed in the C:/Rocksmith directory. I’ve encountered an issue with the DLL files. I found a 32-bit version of the d3dx9_42.dll file online, which allowed me to launch the game and play the songs included in Rocksmith. However, whenever I try to launch a DLC song, the game crashes at the amplifier screen, and I have to use Alt + F4 to exit.

When I try to replace the d3dx9_42.dll file with a more recent version I found online, the game doesn’t launch properly. Instead, after running the game, I get a white screen and then it returns me to the desktop.

I used the CDLC patching tool that I found on their forum, but it tells me that the folder is not found.

I don’t have a Steam account, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to get the DLCs working with my current setup. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help!
