Any Bass tuning Fix?

I’m wondering if anyone has or know a mod for the game that fixes the tuning. I’m trying to play a song on bass with B E A D tuning but the game has TROUBLE trying to register the low B. It keeps putting +999 on it and it’s frustrating me. Is there any mod that has a fix or something of that sorts?

so we have a fix for B Standard and below on bass, it gets a little better detection when set to A=220, and its likely whatever chart you're using, is not set to A=220 and set to regular A=440. So you can either learn to import the cdlc into dlcbuilder and fix it, its only a few button clicks, or report the chart for bass not being in A=220 or ask someone to convert the bass to A=220 for ya.

for some reason this only works when i use emulated bass on an actual bass guitar

this is a super common headache with low tunings on real bass and it's almost always the a=440 vs a=220 thing hikikomori mentioned. the game really struggles to track notes that low because the fundamental of that b string sits at the very edge of what the pitch detection can handle, so it just throws +999 at you when it gives up. if you're playing a real bass, the a=220 fix is the way to go since it drops the reference pitch into a range the game reads way more reliably. converting the cdlc yourself in dlc builder really is just a few clicks: import the psarc, select the bass arrangement, change the tuning metadata to a=220 and rebuild it, then it should behave. on the hardware side it also helps to check your intonation at the bridge and maybe go up a string gauge so the low b isn't flopping around, because a loose floppy string confuses the tuner even more. the emulated bass thing makes total sense too, a guitar plays those notes an octave higher where the detection is way stronger, so it feels like the fix kicks in there first. and if you don't want to touch dlc builder yet, reporting the chart and asking the author to set the bass tuning to a=220 is totally fine, most authors are happy to make that tweak.
