... It didn't help that I was playing Megadeath Lead thinking it was Intermediate 🤣 ... but I got through the solo only failing half the notes

Hi, Im so sorry because i know this isnt the correct place, but I also know that here there is some of you that create cdlc and use eof to do it. I made some modifications on editor-on-fire that make some things easy to me: DTXMania Integration, DTX Import, Playback and Drum Audio, Advanced Guitar Pro Import, Native TuxGuitar Support / .gp import, Create New Project from Guitar Pro Audio, Rocksmith 2014 PSARC Export (of coursr, not so good as DLCBuilder, but it works to me...), Experimental Guitar Effect Recognition (very poor...), Experimental High-Quality AutoSync (it make some mistakes, but it is promizing...), Experimental Spectrogram, Audio Normalization and Preview Improvements...

I put DTXMania suport because my son is taking drum classes and i put him to play the exercises and the songs with this software, as i have an eletronic drum.

I have done all of this mods with help of chatgpt. All of mods is more described in link below:

I think Fee[dB]ack has support for drums (I don't have any drum kit, so I don't know if it works or it's development state).

TuxGuitar support is good for me as it was what I mostly used in the couple of CDLCs that I tried to create (which then exported to GP format and imported in EOF) 😅

I also tried to "automate" some parts using AnthemScore (paid), exporting to musicXml, converting to GP and importing in EOF, but in the end it was more trouble than help 🤣

There was a topic by @Rodman with guitar exercises. Maybe you can create a topic with the songs and exercises for easier reference of the CDLCs?

I could only go for Alice Cooper this week.

Even on Medium difficulty, I could only get 99.18% accuracy... If only speed of that bass was 90%, I could do it, but that little increase in speed makes my fingers go like Michelle Yeoh's in Everything Everywhere All At Once :)

I achieved longer streaks and better scores, but I'm just posting the best accuracy I got:

What helped me today was not hitting the strings as hard as I usually do (I don't hit them hard imo, but I went for a lot more softness) and it improved my scores. Hopefully a lesson learned for next championships.

That Riverside bass pick this week is LOVELY. Such fun to play, the default bass tone sounds great with my bass and in classic prog fashion you can split it into sections quite easily to practice it (the first repeating riff is melting my fingers and brain quite a lot!).

As an aside, the song is quite reminiscent of Airbag's "Homesick" in a number of ways, which is definitely not a bad thing!

Will try to piece it all together in the next day or two and post a competitive score 😅

It's great to know there's someone else who knows and likes Airbag! I'm thinking of going to one of their concerts soon. "Homestic" is a great song; it's a pity that it's generally hard to find good tabs for their songs, otherwise I would make some CDLC.

Isn't this the same chart as the lead path? It has a 4.5 rating there but a 4 here - it really ought to be the other way around, with lead a bit lower if there's no solo. But overall, I'd give it 4.5 for lead and 5 for rhythm.

A downside of level up to the masterclass rhythm some time ago is that I often have to compete in charts that don't suit me and aren't my style - but it is what it is... 8.5/9

I'll add my ratings in the poll, but I think I can do it once, so I'll add them later when I play the bass charts too.

Whatever you feel more comfortable with.
If you are signed into google you can edit your responses after submited / don't have to do them all in one go (but you do if you arent signed in to google since you wont be able to edit it i think).


Atm seems like only me and nomgoose have voted there so it would be appreciated if more people vote there before the week ends 🫶

This is such a good bass song. I really enjoy listening to it, and the bass part makes some sense so it's possible to learn from mistakes. But that said, I'm out of my league in the MC bass category these days.

This week I even feel a bit out out of my league in the Beginner Guitar category, that's a pretty fast beginner song;

I believe it was @pedropmf who mentioned exercises for his son, very kind of you to follow up. As far as my son, he totally kicks my butt on guitar, last thing I want to give him is exercises to improve! He's moved on to classical piano these days, there's some hard piano music out there....

And just more kudos for your work on the website and the championship in general. It's such a pleasure to get to participate with this dedicated and talented group.

Let me ask a general question here about @Rodman 's ratings. Do the bonus songs count in the ratings?
