Would have liked to see if I could achieve a little better result for Dirty Magic and Islands in the stream, which I think I could get but I don’t think I have any time to play this Saturday so it is what it is.

Brought my 4 string bass to the shop for an adjustment, but couldn't stop myself from buying a used PRS SE Custom 24. No regrets so far...

A pretty easy bass week, but some nice charts.

Here you can already feel that this is an old chart.

I think we should remove the Steel Panther charts from the suggestions if there are any left, because the quality of these CDLCs does not meet any quality requirements...

Me the day before the Championship deadline:

I couldn't get a better score on the Kenny Rogers / Dolly Parton duo song, but I did on the Dolly Parton solo song:

Something else I much appreciated on this song is the fret hand positioning: each fret had its own finger from start to finish, from index to pinky, a very good exercise for me.

Great week of songs with a fitting tribute to two modern legends, country music isn't necessarily my thing but you can't help but love Dolly Parton and of course Tim Curry was absolute force in his own right.

And a little Master playthrough for good measure...

The Offspring have actually re-recorded this song for the Days Gone By album, a little more polished than the Ignition version - I personally love the original.

I've never actually seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show but when I was younger I used to go to holiday parks in Wales for the summer, Haven if anyone from my neck of the woods remembers them? Could still be in operation, haven't looked myself! Anyway, the nightly entertainment nearly always involved a group of people in drag singing this song so it brought back some very happy memories for me. RIP Tim Curry.

My wife is a huge Dolly Parton fan so when I told her about this week she said "You had better do Dolly proud" - I tried my best! RIP Dolly Parton

And then of course we have Steel Panther to bring some class and decorum to the proceedings, as always...

That is a Limited Edition Spalted Maple top. Nice guitar @jimmy655 I have owned quite a few PRS guitars, first was a custom 24 and it is a great guitar.

Spot on @robolechuga , that's exactly right. And it seemed like quite a bargain compared to some of the more boutique guitars they had at this shop. The one pictured below was locked in a glass case with a price of $80,000, labeled: "PROTOTYPE,  no serial. January 3, 1992 Dragon Proto #3. Custom built for "Jude"

When I was a lot younger, the running gag among my biking friends was that your priorities are messed up if your car is worth more than the bike up on your roof rack. If that applies to guitars, you could have a pretty nice car to transport this guitar around and still be within the rules...
