I've never imported a guitar pro tab so thats kind of out of my area. I do all the tab in eof and syncing the tempo doesnt really take more than 2 minutes. When theres fluctoations i usually put a marker every 8 bars, if still off then 4, etc. It will depend on the song, however i make tabs of songs post 2000s so they usually are by a metronome (stay at one bpm) / easier/less fluctoations in bpm and also i just like simpler songs in general, luckily no weird time signatures and if there were id probably avoid it :v

Lucky you 😄

Syncing tempo in prog rock songs, especially from the old days when musicians didn't use these sync tools, can be a challenge. Plus, such songs often have non-standard time signatures.

@pedropmf Anyway, even though I've had to spend a lot of time syncing the tempo many times, I've always done it manually, so unfortunately, I don't know 😐 If you use some good and free tools for this, I might even try it out, because I've only heard about some paid ones before.

Bit every this week with the different setups for each song

Thanks for this week's picks @cacahuate51! Can't wait to dig into these songs, but just one for today:

Other than one section in the middle, this song is so fun rhythmically. 8 seems like a good rating, although I personally think it could be a smidge higher:

i do wonder if people will fake gains now by posting worse screenshots 😅 but hey if it makes them more active/ less afraid to post/ more engagement in the first days, anything is good and its an interesting stat.

Hi guys. I know this is off topic, but I'm trying to put some songs on game using eof and rstoolkit and gp5 from songster ia transcriptions. In some songs bpm changes a lot during song, wich make me loose a lot of time adjusting note by note. So in this saga, I have discovered two softwares gpa and sonic visualizer, which help me a lot with this work, but still have some songs that theese tools doesn't work, despite do 90% of work. So, i made a script with IA Gemini help that get jsons from songster with sincronization points, wich work with, let's say, 99% of songs (since they're was tabbed there, of course ang gp5 and YouTube mp3 came from there). My question is there is another tool like sonic visualizer or gpa, that make sync work for us? Once again, sorry for this off topic post...

The only program I know of Is, Go playalong It Is free to try, add song and gpro file and it snyc's
also no one uses toolkit anymore use DLCBuilder instead

Please do not use RSToolkit - that has been a deprecated tool for over 5 years now. In 2026 (since 2020 really), we should be using the DLC Builder. You can download it here: DLC Builder
If you are creating charts, using the newest tools available is going to make things a lot easier.
Please also check out the how-to guide on CDLC creation if you haven't already: How-To Create CDLC
Firekorn has a video linked there which is covers how to sync a beatmap in EOF.

Secondly, Songsterr AI created tabs are still full of issues and shouldn't be used 1:1, they usually always need to be fixed in some form.

When it comes to actually syncing, I'm also one that just manually syncs projects in EOF. It usually doesn't take too long to go through and sync a song manually and is relatively straight forward. (granted, I've been doing this for almost a decade and over 2000 files so I'm probably very blinkered)
Like Caca said, your best option is probably asking in the #Creators channel in the CF Discord

Tx u all for the tips. Long time ago, before Rocksmith 2014, I tried to make some cdlc for Rocksmith 2011, but I remember had no that luck, only at bass paths... But, now with musical ai like songster, I came back to this work. And I knew it had a lot of issues, but on some songs, it transcribed the bass nicely (I mean 95-100% correct). Guitar is some weird on some songs... Drum (I used it in dtxmania to play with an dm211 eletronic drums that I bought to my son studies), but drum is horrible on some songs.... Anyway, goplayalong is a nice tool, but I get nice results with sonic visualizer, which is totally free. Now, let's back to championship...

I'm not a native English speaker. Sorry for mistakes.

hey guys!, I'm still here! My husband had a massive burst brain aneurysm in march 25. 3 brain surgeries and a 9 month stay in hospital, he has had to relearn everything and I'm his full time carer which is hard, but he's slowly getting better which is giving me a little bit of time to play again! I'm going to try and have a go this week, I don't know how good I'll be as I'm a bit rusty!

had a friend recently go through similar... music therapy for the both of you ☮️

@cacahuate51

In my opinion the rating is definitely too low, I think you sometimes do that with charts of this type of music genre. Here we have constant fast riffing, jumping around the fretboard, and the soloing isn't exactly easy either. If it weren't for the streaks of double stops, I would probably have around 80%... For me this is definitely an 8 and masterclass level chart.

20260804211945-1.jpg

The rhythm is generally similar, except without the solo. Last week, the rhythm chart for "Satan" was easier for me, and it was a masterclass... @Rodman once mentioned that the rating should be influenced by how you can sound while playing the song. There's no way this would sound good here for me 😉

A solid 7.5

One of the songs I used to hear often when I was in school. We played this song in the championship a year or so ago, but that was the old CDLC.20260802132015-1.jpg

I played this song a long time ago, but not in the championship. It was the old CDLC, and I remember it being difficult for me, but now the new one is much more enjoyable 😊20260802131459-1.jpg

Strange tuning...

20260802132749-1.jpg

Aside from a very difficult solo tapping section, the rest is playable for me. I'd give this an 8.5.20260804214543-1.jpg

Gave this song my first run through, Louis Cole is such a wildly impressive musician.
