As stated last week its winners choice this week :) congrats to all of you guys who got first place!

I just placed advanced song for masterclass since veggs said they probably wont pick a song

i included the paths from songs that were picked as a bonus incase anyone wants to dive into them. (first place is the main song)

Havent played any except for the linkin park one so this will be an interesting week :)

White Winter Hymnal – Fleet Foxes

Soothsayer – Buckethead
was suggested by Phantasy in discord and I said id put it up the next time i hosted. Also Emmy was kind enough to revisit their chart

Thanks for Kult. It's a pity that the guitar is a bonus, but the Bass is the most fun to play path, so it's ok.

I just wanted to point out that you made a mistake in choosing Dance Gavin Dance song. Lead and Rhythm are a solid 9 in this song, so you were probably supposed to put a different song there. Not to mention using rhythm path only, which would be criminal 🙂

ok thanks mikson, like i said no clue how the songs actually are so will do some switching later on. I just used it since @ALSRC suggested it but he mightve just been expecting to win bass not rhythm.

Out of town this week, so here are my scores after a few warm up passes. I think this chart is the better of the two options.

I have strong doubts if this one is 4... it is lie 8 for me 🤣

I was thinking in the bass path because I have been playing that song, but I didn't win that path, so I'm ok either way (the song being used)

Kult - Arahja. That is definitely 4 🤣 Hammers and pull offs complicate everything.

Sammy Hagar - Heavy Metal (Slaughter’s Version). Cool, interesting. Hard solo.

Mr. Bungle - None of Them Knew They Were Robots. Hard but interesting. Tons of notes on Bass is impossible.

Buckethead - Soothsayer. Very cool but very hard

I have switched songs around since i have created the week so please pay attention to the song that is in your class. I think it should be a bit more balanced now.

At any rate, leave your difficulties with your playthroughs if you think it should be a different number and ill do an average at the end of the week.

edit: i have also started react as i think the songs will stay there/ wont need switching classes just numbers

Guitar scores

I played some yesterday and some today (since its alot of paths):

I think the rated 3 from previous weeks is a bit high? so i lowered it to 2. I cant imagine an easier song. its short, not many notes. Just one slow riff and then chords and then riff x2 and thats pretty much it.

I liked this song reminded me of the soundtrack of swiss army man movie soundtrack or some sigur ross from the basegame dlc or maybe it was rs1. Anyways had fun playing other bass notes in the intro to go with the vocals, and it went in a direction i wouldnt have gone with so it was refreshing.

bass was also pretty simple only "tricky" part is double stops but the song is really slow so also lowered it.

I would give it lower in rhythm aswell but rhythm is usually easier and i get a lot of misses.





I think 4.5s are ok for this song as its not too easy and will require practice... (infact, posting these pictures it might be harder than the sammy song will have to play the two rhythm paths same day again)

not sure if this is really a 4? its jsut one chord progression throughout the whole song. I gave it 3.5 cause i think its kinda the same level as the beginner song rhythm maybe slightly harder cause theres more rhythm to it but not by much.




arahja didnt seem that hard. idr the gavin one ill have to replay both of them but my guess is gavin was slightly harder. Just bumped gavin up to a 5 cause it was harder than a 4 for sure cause of speed ( will have to play later on).







upped it from 6 to 7 cause that solo is pretty intense. The rest of the song is pretty easy though so maybe 6.5? well see, but for now i think its 7.


ez 4 😅 jokes aside its now masterclass main path as i do think its more technical than robot song.

People with large fingers or small guitars seem to be allergic to string skipping. quite some huge streteches there.



what on earth did i just play XD No wonder @JobwanMojo is a beast, probably warms up with this song.
really neat song though, will be keeping it, end reminded me of perry the platypus song/ spy vibes.

i bumped this up to 8.5 cause the octave part is pretty intense imo. the rest is pretty straight forward.
