Very sorry to hear about that, can't even fathom how that feels. Past year has been really rough with losses for us (one close family friend who was a country singer, and two long term pets), but nothing like that. Condolences to your family.

My lil niece, my brother´s daughter died at the finish line of her neuroblastoma relapse therapy - cancer was already successfully completely gone - on a very rare infection right before her 6th bd. She was borne the week before the covid lockdown, diagnosed at the age of 2, cured after 18 month horror-therapyscheme, relapse xmas last year, did it all again.... then that. This life was not meant for her.

We are all smashed to the ground. I am trying to find some strings of normality by doing things i always do to distract myself like work and playing guitar but probably will be only dropping some scores and wont be able to organize so much the coming weeks. If i´ll be harsh or smthg it´s cause life is a bitch.

I have other things planned for Saturday so I am dropping my results now instead. I’m quite happy with the results this week anyways. The fact that I got so good results was quite a surprise to me, I didn’t play that much more this week compared to other weeks.

Speaking of difficulty ratings, there are a few times I have thought about leaving some song suggestions but didn’t go through with it as I felt like I didn’t have enough knowledge to rate the difficulty of songs. Is there someone else who will determine the difficulty if I don’t leave a rating or if it’s the wrong difficulty? For example, I don’t have a bass so I wouldn’t know how difficult a song on bass is.

The host will determine the initial difficulty of the song each time the week is made.

Having a difficulty number when suggesting is beneficial to the hosts so that they have an idea of what class it could be/ they dont have to test as many songs or atleast not blindly.

But if you dont know or are unsure thats also ok and you can press "i dont know "


You can play bass paths with a guitar in emulated mode (press space bar when tunning in a bass path). Infact, i personally think doing bass emulated is a good way to start your eye cordination/ get used to rocksmith if your new to the software /guitar. Cause usually it will have more single notes or at times it can be a simplified rhythm guitar (but not overly simplified as if you would be doing if you removed the difficulty using dd).

I know others might disagree on playing bass paths with guitar. However I felt more motivated doing bass paths when starting off rs. To the point that i bought a bass and have used the bass for years. I also always start with bass paths first to have a general idea of how the song might be and then play rhythm and lastly lead. So it feels like a gradual build of difficulty/ warmup instead of just jumping into the lead (cause lead to me is always the hardest, but everyone is different and the most important thing is you have fun/continue).

Just keep in mind that if you do this it will always be quite a bit easier on the guitar so grade it a bit higher (play previous bass songs in the competition to have an idea).

not much higher than my og score but i do feel like im playing the articulations more as intended so im happy with it.
