How to best use the Championship? I think the best way is to try everything out and then pick one song to focus on each week. Slow, max difficulty practice on Riff Repeater raising speed by 1%. Then to wrap things up, a run or two or three after practicing those tough sections and % goes up 📈📸🏆. Learn and practice outside of the game for sure. Consistency is the only way up so let’s play! 🔥🎸🔥

This year’s event will be happening on Sunday, February 8th and will feature Bad Bunny and Green Day. I know I’m excited!

Very cool theme can't wait to try some of these songs since I haven't heard lots of them! Scared me a bit since you said superbowl was on the 8th of Feb I was like damn it's the 7th already today?!

Looking at the list of artists who performed was interesting.

The who, sting, Slash, Tom petty and the something something, maybe mj with some bass, probably prince but I've never really heard his music, maybe U2 but that's usually int adv maybe Lenny kravits but again usually intermediateish or sometimes easier.

I was surprised I didn't see daft punk? I thought I read somewhere that they performed or were gonna. I also thought I saw greenday to be opening this year but maybe I'm tripping

Edit: i was still now home yet, the list also made me think and i was like huh wonder why metallica hasnt been featured or iron maiden. Looked it up and found that.

Unfortunately Voice of Sadness is DEFINITELY not a 10. I don't know why you raised the rating so much. Especially since quite recently (week 639) we played another Galneryus song, Vetelgyus, which was more difficult and had an 8.5 rating 😬

who-hooo... absolutely did NOT expect that. POPs all the way through, the perfect excercise song for that. very happy with my 1st run there, i´d recommend every bassplayer here to have a run on that

Metallica is bugging we are at the height of nostalgiacore!! Rammstein is too other country I think 😅 but world class pyro for sure

I tested so many other songs I could do another week with the theme but there's always next year 😂 A lot of the good quality charts I played were in the range of 2-5.5, some I tried:

The Who, Sting, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Usher, and Phil Collins.

I think Save Your Tears by the Weeknd shoulda been beginner rhythm instead of luther because the Kendrick chart is basically empty, and luther lead is crazy for beginner and maybe even int idk what I was smoking 💀 my bad

8.5 on the Galneryus is crazy work to me, let's see a 99 week 1 and I believe 😂

ah, actually i think i had played these last year since i did a championship week during the superbowl. Gave it a shot but yea, not my type.

Dont know if kendrick just sampled sza but if not, I would rather listen to a version made by Sza, where she keeps the chorus and ditches the rest to create something new. Or it should be resampled in the future cause the chorus is honestly good. But, i guess theres a reason kendrick solds millions of copies and i havent sold a song xD

I can't describe how big of a deal this Kendrick vs. Drake beef was as it happened, just absolutely insane. Everyone was losing their minds over it out here.

He dropped the verse in Like That, then Euphoria, then 6:16 in LA right after, then Meet the Grahams, he didn't even have to drop Not Like Us because the war was won. Such a massive hit that you just knew he was gonna do the Superbowl and he brought SZA and Serena Williams along.

AI can't touch this lyricism and draaama is my opinion 💃 also MUSTAAAAAARD
