UPDATE: 1/11/26 - V2: Complete overhaul to bring up to modern standards. Improved accuracy, visuals, hand positions, phrases, lyrics, tones, additional leading silence, etc.

Yeah, as already being said, certainly not 8. Maybe the 5-string version is harder, but the 4-string is 5.5-6* max

Unfortunately on guitar I'm struggling to get past the 80s 😅

It seems that chords aren't detected if the strumming is not perfect (or I just butchered it 😂)

Playing Spanish songs when it's the height of winter, snow and -10 degrees Celsius is an interesting experience! 😄

Honestly, these two seemed to me to be similar difficulty level, I would give Ojos Marrones a slightly higher rating.

I was destroyed by a section of muted arpeggios...

Ohh, no chance 😬

I noticed that almost every one of these songs has some arpeggio parts, it is not easy to play them by sightread and without practicing.

Thanks for the week! What a lot of bass songs :D I like that there are a few slower songs (like Selena) with a lot of string switching, it feels like good practice :)

I think the oz song might be too high, power metal isnt usually hard infact pretty easy if you have a pick. But it does say fingered...There is a tricky part but i think its 100%able which usually isnt the case for me in masterclass. That being said yea there werent that many hard bass songs in spanish so its ok.

Yeah, besides the fast part just after the bridge it was very doable. I had more trouble with the Ketchup Song :P

the arps are a bit fast I wouldnt have minded it being a 6 advanced since itll require some practice to get a highscore but ig its good to give intermediates a challenge :P

@Rodman I am dying over how much you hate "Azul" 🤣. I thought of @nlbsmglsk's reaction to Flea as soon as I saw the music video for it, it's hilarious

baaah... that would have been a very high run, managed the solo section with no error, then that bastard changes key one halfstep up, like popsongs from the 70s do, it´s sooo hilarious, breaks my ears - i just couldn´t play anymore there at the easy end.

I went through each part in RR and then ran score attack again. Seemed to help a lot! The first run was just a sight read.
