How to best use the Championship? I think the best way is to try everything out and then pick one song per instrument to focus on each week. Slow, max difficulty practice on Riff Repeater raising speed by 1%. Then to wrap things up, a run or two or three after practicing those tough sections and % goes up 📈📸🏆. Learn and practice outside of the game for sure. Consistency is the only way up so let’s play! 🔥🎸🔥

The theme for this week is it's all in Spanish! I’ve seen a few people hoping for something like this over my time here so I thought I’d give it a shot. I tried my best to find the best quality charts possible.

First up, “Ojos Marrones” by Laso and Sebastian Yatras. Yatras has had many hits over recent years in the world of reggaeton and then some. Nice beginner track:

Next up, “Si No Te Hubieras Ido” by Mana. This band is older but huge, huge, huge. Maybe the Nickelback of Latinoamerica. Lots of good intermediate songs by these guys (unfortunately a lot of old charts needing love):

Third up, “Hasta la Raíz” by Natalia Lafourcade. She makes beautiful music, and luckily a few of her songs have been made into CDLC:

Fourth up, “Azul” by Cristian Castro. Like Mana, this guy’s music was always playing everywhere, either on the radio or in soap operas. Great instrumentals, check it out:

Fifth up, “Tu Boda” by Oscar Maydon and Fuerza Regida. From the corrido tumbado genre, one of the more recent hits in this collection. Love the guitar in this one, super catchy:

Sixth up, “Ella Baila Sola” by Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma. This song took corridos tumbados worldwide. 785M views on this mega hit, excellent instrumentation but it’s a tough one:

Seventh up, “No Me Queda Mas” by Selena. RIP to the queen of Cumbia, taken too soon. Beloved by all of Latin America with good reason. Great movie about her played by Jennifer Lopez. Incredible catalogue with A.B. Quintanilla, her brother, on bass:

Pretty impressive you came up with it in such short notice. I dont really listen to songs in spanish even though im mexican so it was a nice change. (also thanks for not choosing despacito even though the cdlc is probably decent). havent gotten as many 100% first try in a while


Selenas movie use to be on channel 5 all the time, but for some reason whenever i turned it on it was just her getting shot, so i have no idea what the rest of the movie is like.


Ojos marrones always gets played at restaurants, never knew the name so its good to know. And well Mana also gets played alot aswell but its mana.




I think the oz song might be too high, power metal isnt usually hard infact pretty easy if you have a pick. But it does say fingered...There is a tricky part but i think its 100%able which usually isnt the case for me in masterclass. That being said yea there werent that many hard bass songs in spanish so its ok.

this one was caught me off guard has some nice fills.

If i knew mago de oz had a female singer i mightve given them more of a chance before. Really liked her voice. Always good to see some 0.3.5.6s in songs although my fav will always be a7x beast and the harlot.

As for difficulty, mago de oz should be masterclass 8 lead imo. it is long, a short solo somewhere in there, the intro tapping is pretty simple and the rest is just single notes or fairly simple. I was thinking maybe they had tabbed the synths but nope. The peso pluma imo song is way more technical/ harder to make it sound good.
and even as low as a 6 for rhythm as its power metal, so pretty straight forward/ easier than bass cause here i doubt somone will say "i use fingers not a pick". And also has that semi tricky part at the end of the bridge.

🤣 Funny you say that. My mother used to turn off the VHS before the part where she died so I didn't find out for years even though I would literally watch the movie every day back then 💀. Worse than finding out about Santa Claus. By our powers combined, we watched the whole movie!
