Fun to play, really messed up a couple of parts expected a red x or 2

Hmm, was thinking the Jonas brothers one was the original (my kids used to listen to that).

Had to try to get rid of the dreaded red x. Did the jonas brothers slightly change the lyrics?

I'm posting this mostly to see how it works to upload images to this website. This was an early attempt by me. I had one at 94% at the lead version but didn't notice at the time that one of the sections wasn't purple so I guess it disqualifies that run. I did briefly try out the song by The Jonas Brothers and realize that I definitely belong to the beginner class, i'm going to need some time to practice that song (not that it was a surprise to me anyway).

thanks! havent heard of the first two so it will be interesting to play, as for the scorpions song i noticed theres a more recent version 2023 is there a reason why you suggested the 2021 version instead?

443 points?! Vodka was a mad man last year haha. i dont think ive ever seen it that high and its more than 4 times as much as the 2ndplayer loudly 😅 vodka be hacking the scores. I wonder if youll give atleast advanced rhythm a shot soon. Perfect time to do so since its a start of a new year 😝 (edit maybe not cause looks like the new leaderboard is taking points from 9 weeks ago instead of the 1st week of the year but better now than later)

surprised satinuke beat drand in intermediate for 3rd place but i guess he was pretty active at the start of last year.

I dont think ive ever won lead and rhythm in a year so thats very unexpected and cool!

Veggs95 probably wouldve splattered us in rhythm though if they had joined earlier and im sure rosefog would be way higher up aswell in bass but they also joined semi late.

Job rightfully taking the 1st place position in bass, congrats!🤘

ah yes! make sure in the future to turn dynamic difficulty off and sight reading to max so it doesnt go down if you miss alot of notes. Or just set it to override max, or use score attack hard mode (and if you really want to push it, play score attack master mode. although not many people do that).

I also noticed the image was dragged into the site. For limited space reasons make sure to just paste url links of the image being uploaded in steam or a 3rd party site like img.bb . You can also check what everyone else uses if you right click their image and put open in new tab and look at the url.

Other than that, all good! look forward to see more scores from you throughout the weeks and glad you gave the song several go´s! (I do think it is critical to do so when starting off, later on youll start to recognize patterns and not need to as much)

Dave is my Rhythm Guitar Riff Hero - saw'em once live in 1994 - general admission (remember Gen X) with Corrosion of Conformity - Youthanasia Tour - so great. Didn't realize I could alternate chug this fast, can't switch the chords that fast, but I can chug.

Oh, I just hadn't noticed the 2023 version. Looks like it's the better one. I did think it was odd that the 2021 version was in A450 😅

To post the steam URL is more complicated to describe it than to actually do it 😅

After you F12 the image on the game you go Steam Content and Send the screen capture.
After that, on your screen capture content tiles, you open the image and right click it to get the link address.
If that link is something like images.steamusercontent..., when you paste that link here, it should convert into an image.

I don’t know if I found how to do it properly but when using Steam, do I go through View –> Recordings & Screenshots and use one of the options that come up when I right click the screenshot that I want to use or am I looking in the completely wrong place?

Here I have made a post of it to not clutter here and so that future participants can use it. I was pretty sure I had done one before but I couldnt find it .

If you still have issues let me know in that post (that way if others have the same issues in the future they can find the solution aswell)

1. F12 to take the screen shot.

2. Shift + Tab opens the steam overlay while the game is still running. Click on screenshots and upload the ones you want.

3. Either close or Alt+Tab from the game and open the steam client.

4, Click on 'your name' >> content >> screenshots.

5. Left click on the shot you want to post, then It should spawn a smaller window with your screenshot in it.

6. Right-click on the shot and choose "Copy Link Address". Or click again and hit Ctrl+C

7. Ctrl+V the link in the reply box on CustomsForge. It will auto-replace your link with an image.
