If you have been reading the news, this has been a very crazy year everywhere, but in this holiday season let's celebrate together that humanity has kept creating great music in 2024!!!  🎸🎶

Quick notes about the songs for this week:

- As you will notice, there are many songs with very low tunings, so I am providing the drop-D versions. 

-  Fontaines D.C. - Starburster > this is mostly a very easy song that I would rate like 2 or something, but it has a little tricky part, so I decided to rate it 3.5 and add it as a bonus... Would want to have a feedback from the beginner players!

- Atlus - It's Going Down > I tried hard to find songs for advanced-bass, but could not find any, so I am repeating another song from the game Persona 3 Reload. Nice bassline, anyway. I doubted if I should give this a 7...

Just started with the Starbuster, since you are asking for feedback:

there are some long silences, for practice purposes it's not great as i waste time. Regarding the difficulty, it feels too easy too be interesting except the part with the orange and blue around fret 7. Please take feedback with a pinch of salt since I mostly have no clue what I'm talking about 😄

Extremely happy to have my song featured. A question for an organizer, can I update my song during this time? I feel I can make some changes to bring it up in quality. Also the tuning is Eb drop Db, in the part where it shows the song it says it's E standard. Thanks again for featuring my song!

Cool, It'd be great if you did! 🙂 (not the organizer of this week/ havent played it yet but do appreciate it when creators update their charts) not sure how itll affect the scoring but if we all use the same updated version I imagine it should be fine. Besides you get a notification that a new version is up if they already downloaded it.

not much to add: WE NEED YOU - there is only a few of us constantly putting the weeks together, help would be great. It´s a very very smooth process, all heavily supported by scrips. THE main thing is to have a testrun on the paths of the selected songs for difficulty rating (and see if the quality of the file is ok)

Me myself - i am in the middle of a very demanding pre-xmas quest.... which will be a decision 4 life 😱

 

 

 

 

I have spent playing for 10 hours or so - when placing my order i was absolutely sure it was gonna be a tough reace between the Martin D-28 and the Taylor 814ce builders ed. but NOOOO - it´s not that easy. The Gibson Hummingbird sounds so awesome (and if you ever have a chance to open up a premium Gibson acoustic - do - that smell of that guitar... insane), who would have ever ever thought it could compete - it´s competing to stay hard and atm in first place, maybe a tad behind the absolute surprise candidate the gorgious Taylor GT K21e, completely made out of hawaian Koa - it only landed in the basket for being a black friday deal - so far always in 1st or 2nd in any blind audition i sent to my friends. So - all 4 are still absolutely up for the place in my livingroom, playability on all perfect, no dropping of any there. Today i´ll gather my family and hear what they hear and say.

What can i say - life is hard.

 

P.S: It´s unlikely it´s gonna be the Gibson, cause i don´t wanna buy a Gibson - but if you ever test one - play some J. Cash 😉

That's right, I also made this song a bonus because it had long silences.
