didnt know this song was by max martin but im not surprised since that guy was a hit machine. Really good chorus, the verse is kinda forgetable imo, didnt even remember the song till the chorus hit...that being said...makes me wonder if he was also in charge of look what you made me do by taylor cause the verse has similar vibes.

First lead score group for me this week.  Gonna have to do a little catching up on the Iron Maiden to get close to the respectable scores I expect to see from some of the other competitors this week.

Seems much harder than a 6 to me.  I got a pretty good score, however, I did not play it that great (same with the lead).  I feel rocksmith was very forgiving, excited to practice this one. 

Yikes, need to get better at reading charts like this.  Gonna shift back to Maiden, for now, much more my style.

Starting to get comfortable with it

If any of you guitarists can help a finger-picker out, I'd appreciate any suggestions on  right-hand technique for the repetitive figure near the end of lead part on Genghis Khan  (also appears briefly in rhythm).    I've got to where I can play that cleanly at about 90% speed, but my right hand picking pattern falls apart faster than that.   Starting at the E, my current picking pattern is: u(p),d(own),d,u,d,u,d,u.    Thanks in advance...

I guess the guitar change helped today, Epi 59 LP has lower action than my SE DGT, seems to improve my accuracy by 2.26%. 

 

I didn't do the math, but I don't believe the increase in accuracy is proportional against all songs and styles unfortunately
