From testing...

This was fun:

 

This is overall enjoyable and not too difficult but there is one tricky extended string skipping section 2/3 of the way through that is more Adv level:

If you can get down the repeated octave run it's not too bad:

Hoo boy...this earns the 8.5-9 difficulty IMO:

If the Mastodon song is indeed a 10 (I haven't tested it) shouldn't it be selected as GoG?
If the difficulty rating is confirmed, I propose to make it Gog (Lead path) for 2 weeks, and as a masterclass lead add a song that has only lead path (there are several in the song selection sheet).

Could one of the mods change me from intermediate bass to advanced bass please.

I think i'm ready 🙂 i've won intermediate bass the last few weeks so I think its only fair to give someone else a chance.

I'll leave that up to you and the Lead competitors. I don't see a need to add an extra song if it's above Advanced level, as there is no GoG "class" technically. I tend to think of GoG/GoR/GoB as primarily for full albums or other special cases. But if the people want the change to be made, no problem.

As always my sightreads for this week!

 

Cool band, cool tune. I only knew the song in the official RS list before this one.

Not a Ska Fan but it had some cool riffs and some nice solo parts!

 

Far From my Favorite Accept Era/Song, my favs are the amazing Balls To The Walls and Restless and Wild albums. Although I think all the post-2010 stuff isn't far behind some great riffs and Wolf is one of the most criminally underrated players! 

 

Great to see God of Guitar is back. Love the addition! More songs equals more fun! Although this is way beyond my skill level!

I just saw the change so the AC/DC track will be played soon! 

oh boy... Accept ... fast as a shark - gotta have to quickly find that in spoty... ok running - for comparison - yeah, my memory didn´t fool me - no big difference in that hammer guitar licks by Wolf Hoffmann, the vocals clearly not on the level of UDO, but not bad. cool song (hard 7)

Didn't know mastodon was this progressive/technical, sounds sick.

Aw man,  I love The Specials, and Gangsters comes up the week that I hurt my wrist shoveling the foot of snow that we got.  Maybe I'll be able to play later in the week.
