Just fyi, links to the songs send us to old ignition.

I'm newcomer, and wanted to make my first participation.

I'm not beginner, but i'm absolutely not masterclass. So maybe better to participate as freebird the two first weeks, as rules talked about it.

I'll try the current songs, and post all scores.

(I'm on bass).

Yeah - links seem to be an issue still, let´s give them a few days, all will be good i am sure.

 

Ah, don´t go freebirdin, just play the INT/ADV/MC songs , rather easy ones that week and you will find your spot over the first weeks!

Ok !

I played all the songs listed, and here are my thoughs :

 - Beginner really is. A lot of the same note in succession, just have to learn them a bit to play in blind mode. Here is the oneshot :

 - The ACDC one is average, liked to play it, 100% at first try, feels good 😃

 - The advance on give me a handhache (does that even exist, not native english). First try was 3 instant strikes lol. So I went to riff repeater 50% for the intro only, and manage to pass it up to 100%. Continued in LAS, until the middle riff with fast E-A strings. Got almost one strike again, so I went back to riff repeater and practiced. Understood the riff, but at full speed, that was a bit messy, and my final try was this one :

 - Master Class : I knew the song (base game so...) but never really played it a 100% difficulty. I don't have more time to practice it, so I played it twice and there is the result :

Honestly, It feels good to try some unknown songs, and very fun to try to beat your score.

I'll see the next week my results, and choose a category. For the moment, advance seems the good choice, beacause the need of work to improve is here, and not out of reach.

Edit: Screenshots straight from my disk, without uploading on any hosting sites, simple and fast, I like it!

 

Hmm lets see how images work on here. Oh nice you can just paste the link and it embeds for you. Also I like the addition of the gif button and the ability to finally resize images.

Won't be using the attachment system since you can only upload like 5 jpegs before you run out of space.

My results for this week so far:

 

 

@coldrampage Try hitting the G on fret 10 with your first finger after the three Cs on fret 8 Cold-san. That is what I have normally done on this song to compensate for being a 5' 6" (168 cm) peasant.

So i see that i am amazingly late on this whole thing ive seen it a couple times but never participated. How do i participate i cant get to the links sorry if its a bother. I have the songs and i get that i have to upload screen shot. Anything else to keep in mind.....like score attack learn a song specigic difficulty ?

Bass day.

 

In the championship table this song has a rating of 5 for rhythm and is for advanced level. This rating is more correct so I assume there is a mistake in the opening post - AC / DC and Priestess are reversed.

Decided to try all three tracks this time since it was just one song.  And look, embedded images!  The new site is really cool.

how can I join to championship? the rules link is not working.
