Rocksmith remastered discussion (part 2)

Featured Replies

The bulk fix for the 100% bug seems to be to use the CFSM tool.

  • Is there a mac/other solution?
  • Does the tool fix the mac file as well - the _m.psarc file?
  • So can I run the csfm tool in a windows VM on my mac to fix the CDLC's?

Thanks. I love Rocksmith and CDLC.

Please discuss Rocksmith Remastered here. FAQ: Q: My CDLC doesn't work! A: For windows: Please use the new .dll | Mac: Please use the Patch. You can get both here For further help regarding customs

  • Guys! I finally FUCKING fixed it! I only had to Restore Default Options on RS2014 Settings.   Change all settings and options back to their original states.   I believe I had a problem because as soon

  • Talking shit doesn't help anyone, and could make matters worse. If they had set out with the intention to break CDLC, it would've taken a lot longer than a few hours to get it working again. Let's not

Ok, It seems I cant find the way to run CDLC.

- Bought today Rocksmith 2014 Remastered on Steam

- Ive put the new .dll in the rocksmih directory

Anyone got an Idea what to do?

@@lamby,

You can also use the DDC tab of the Toolkit by using the check box "generate new arrangement Id"

@,

Use DDC v3.2 beta to fix this issue in old CDLCs

I can't see any download link for v3.2 DDC. Btw,I reportid this issue not long ago and allmost every CDLC in my folder have this problem.

My Customs

The reasons why most of my customs are not updated yet:

1.)I'm lazy to do it because I have no motivation for it

2.)I'm not at my computer

3.)I'm working on a song that I haven't made it yet

4.)I don't have any song to work on it

I'm having a partial success trying to fix this.

I just got the latest version of CFSM (v1.2.7.9) and ran the repair with the Add DD button selected.

Good News

It did a great job fixing the songs that did not have DD. They now have DD, the 100% bug is gone, and no chord clutter problem.

Bad News

I'm having issues with songs that already had DD. It did fix the 100% bug, but I still have the chord clutter.

The example above is Lola. I also tried going to the song manager tab and using the bulk action to add DD to fix it. No luck

TLDR:

The current fix in CFSM works for songs that do NOT have DD. However I can't seem to fix the chord clutter issue on songs that already had DD.

hey guys, thanks for all your hard work. everything is almost back to normal. I wish I could do these thing!

I have lost "welcome to the black parade" and "the thrill is gone".  they show up in the new CFSM, under RS1 Compatibility DLC under song packs tab, but is not showing up in RS remastered!!

what did I screw-up and is there some way to fix it???

thanks!

@@franfit Do you own them on steam? (they are RS1 DLC so they won't show up as RS2014 DLC under steam).

thanks for the replay!

Yep. i even went to try to redownload from steam, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do that. so i was going to buy it again (on sale for $1.49  :)), but it said i already owned it so that was a no go.

it was there before i used all the fixes and like i said before, it does show up in CFSM. just not in the game. it must be somewhere.

@franfitMake sure you don't any filter in the song list.

If it doesn't work, i would suggest to delete the rs1_compatibility_dlc.psarc (not sure that is the exact name but it should be close) and verify the integrity of the game files via steam so it should redownload it. Not sure it will fix the issue but if that files was corrupted, it could explain the behaviour.

i just realized that all the songs (146) from rs1 compatibility dlc are not showing.    i'm sure i an delete the 1 file but 'm not sure how to verify the integrity of game files. do i just restart  RS through Steam?

@@franfit In your steam library, right click on the game, go to properties, in the local files tab, you haave the option to verify the integrity of the game cache which should check for any problem in the game files and redownload the corrupted file.

@@firekorn you did it man. fixed all the corrupt files and i'm rocking again.

thanks so much for your help!!!  :D

I'm assuming this is a false positive (and I really shouldn't be using Norton) but Norton is telling me the .dll is unsafe and should be removed :/

Right on all counts, ha!

Does anyone have the exact instructions (step by step) to use CDLC's for Rocksmith Remastered on the Mac? I've tried all the instructions on the post I've seen, nothing has seemed to work for me. Is there a video for it on youtube?

Hello, Ran in to a couple of situations today trying to work between the PC and OSX versions. To start - thanks for all the hard work on the 100% mastery fix - however I may have uncovered some bugs in it (granted I'm probably not doing very common things, certainly not for common reasons).

This be more of a question - but the situation I ran in to is that I repaired all of my PC CDLC with the beta Customs Forge Song Manager - and then took all of that repaired CDLC and used the RS Custom Song Toolkit to convert that PC CDLC to Mac - which I didn't get any errors, all the CDLC IS playable on OSX - however they all again suffer from the 100% mastery bug despite my repairing of said bug with the CFSM. So the question/suggestion is: Is there a possibility to do one of two things: Make the CFSM catch and repair any of the Mac CDLC files that I may have in my directory (even though it only runs in Windows), or is it possible that in the RS Custom Song Toolkit to implement a fix so that the 100% mastery bug doesn't crop back up when I convert from PC CDLC to Mac?

I downloaded the latest release version (August 2016) and used that - is there a beta release I can try it again with?

@@blingity The beta version is the way to go in that kind of situation as the stable release still don't had any update regarding the Remastered issue (obviously looking at when it was made available).
