-= Building a Guitar from Scratch with Absolutely No Woodworking Experience =-

Since today I`m a Bachelor of Engineering/ Science. I`ve drunk a bottle of vodka. An ideal occasion to check impact of alkohol on playing... and the last occasion to play in 152 week.

Well, the results can`t show how terrible it was. :) Respect for guitarists who goes on the stage drunk. Anyway, its was a great week for me. Good songs, which disturb me in preparing to the exam.

I'm ill. Just in time for my sons birthday on Tuesday too :( My son's ill too both of us with a nasty chest infection and exhausted so, no more scores at all. Haven't had the strength to play Tool for 11 minutes, it's just too much in my current state and my tendonitis has flared up again too ... told you I'd moan :) See you next week, if I am well enough tomorrow I am going out for pre birthday drinks with my bestie (albeit a week early for my birthday but hey, I don't care when my birthday is) so  I don't think I will be back to playing until Monday as I'll be working Sunday... Thought that I would start doing rhythm MC as well from now on since I'm already in 1st place for Lead MC. After I've taken 1st place for rhythm I'll start doing bass.

Missed one chord at the start preventing me from getting the 1st time FC...

Haven't been playing much guitar this week. I've been focussed on playing Warlock mid in Dota 2 over and over again. Went from 3500 to almost 4000 MMR in just four days!

 

In layman's terms: In the video game I play, I've managed to climb from the top 10% of players to the top 5% using an obscure strategy that nobody expects! If it keeps working at the rate it has been, I'll be in the top 1% of players in a few more days...

 

But I played a bit tonight! Here's my tiny improvements for my tiny efforts:

I swear there's something I'm just not getting about this riff... I think if I slow it down I could probably manage high 90s. Maybe I do that tomorrow.

@@Gamut In a game like dota being in the top 5% is quite an accomplishment! Tried once or twice but i got so confused i almost exploded

FInally!  Man I nearly threw my bass a few times trying to better my score, but got there!  (Is it just me or did the "perfect" rhythm seem slightly off to anyone else?)

Welp, im giving up on this one, song is too long to afford to make a mistake before the solo and when it happens its really boring having to sit through all this chording to get to the part i f'ed up and my strumming hand feels like its going to fall off! Id rather let this song go than have my hand hurt for like 2 weeks. Then again, i didnt come on the championship to be THAT competitive, ill gladly take 2nd place thank you very much :)

Lead   um nope. If it were possible to be leveled down from beginner I would be.

Quick and dirty this week. The only tune that I really worked with was the Bass MC. My goal was to do better than last time - which I did (yay).

 

I am now off the grid again for two weeks...

 

Bass MC - 98,02 %

 

 

Lead INT - 93,64%

 

 

Rhythm INT - 94,38%

Btw the tab is wrong for bass but im glad that it isnt the rigth tab because i can just imagine the bad note recogniton with all those chords.
