What good is a Ska & Reggae Playground if there aren't any toys?  So let's start a listing of CDLC that we'll allow in our little sandbox.

While I was at it, I added 2 tracks by The Beat.  How T.F. did I miss them?  I had The English Beat, but not The Beat. (Same band, different name in North America for legal reasons).  I guess that that tells you where I'm from.

How long does it take you to create a track?  What (high level) process do you use to go from song name to cdlc?

Lol nothing super high tech. I've been starting with a power tab with Guitar Pro and importing into Editor on Fire to build from there. Just depends on if there is actually already a tab or not somewhere. If not it can take a bit to go through and figure out bass/guitar etc. Probably like 4 to 10hrs to get version 1 cdlc up

A year and a half later, and I just searched and listened to all of those.  AWESOME list.

"What brought this on?" you might ask?  I was on my second BEvERage at the sushi place around the corner and a song on their playlist just had the best ska rhythm guitar skank.  I had to ask the sever what it was.  She said that:

1. It was her playlist
2. The band is 9mm Parabellum Bullet
3. The song is Heart Ni Hi Wo Tsukate
4. She has seen the band live in Japan several times
5. She plays bass, so I showed her pictures of the basses that I have built.

I tipped very well.

So down the rabbit hole I go.
