Man I was having fun with this game till Steam automatically updated my old version to "remastered" 2014 Rocksmith.  Made the game go all wonky.  Had to get the patch from here, but it still acts funny.  Is there anyway I can take the auto-update feature off line?

Hi guys, I love the idea of being able to subscribe to be notified if the song I download is updated, but unless I'm missing something (and I may) it doesn't seem to discriminate between updates and comments.   Is there a setting or something I'm missing or something I can do, or is it just the way things are setup in that version updates are treated as a comment? I ask because I already get way too much email and if i start getting more anytime there's a comment my inbox is just going to be eve
