I'm guessing this is never going to happen since I never really saw an ingame mod for RS. But would it be technically possible to link different colors to notes with a mod? So every note has their own color instead of having colors based on the strings. And have a different system to seperate strings like just a tag on a note or something like that.

Hey Forgers! Just wondering if there is a way to disable the Auto Tone switching in RS2014? *As in, The tones never change unless I switch to one of my 4 "preset tones"? I understand that RS2014 is way more focused on the tones, and the switches then the previous Rocksmith. ... Was still just curious if there's a way to do it. ->Apologies if this has already been discussed, I checked for it on the forums but couldn't find an answer to this. Thanks all!

Does anyone know if such a thing exists? For me being a beginner, and most cdlcs not having DD makes it quite tricky for me... sometimes I just want to pause and go through a section at my own pace.

Chords Display Fix MOD It's just an idea/concept for now (shouldn't be too hard to Modify the textures). Here's the idea: When there's a lot of close Chords in RS 2014 it's just unreadable, if you don't already know the song's rhythm. The idea would be to take ideas from a better readable interface. I've play Guitar Hero for several years & i think the readability is far better. There's one big difference according to me, in GH the notes are displayed "Flat" while in RS it's displayed vertically. The vertical choice is more confusing (but necessary to display chords), & Ubisoft have made the choice of choosing the same color for different elements on di…

I find being able to speed a passage up past it's actual tempo very valuable for getting something under my fingers. Does anyone know how to modify Riff Repeater so that it the speed setting can go past 100% ? Would this be easy to do or basically impossible?

Hello everyone just discovered customs-forge and this place is truly amazing. It has expanded the use I have got for rock-smith beyond belief. Currently I have got some issues with the CDLC that I have downloaded. The artwork that I have for the albums is different to the ones that is on the CDLC so when I come to pick a track its confusing the hell out of me. So i'm looking for a way to either batch delete the artwork for an album or a quick way for me to change the artwork with the one that I can scan in , ( or scrape for a web source ) I tried the custom song creator toolkit and there are options to remove parts and change volumes and metadata but not the album art…

Would it be possible to change the square notes into the actual notes? Or I'd say create an inlay that has the letter notes, maybe at least whole notes, but that changes with the tuning. Might help subconsciously learn the notes, mostly I can only *hear* a couple chords, like G, E, and maybe D, and A. Chords are displayed prominently. As for individual notes, I can probably tell an open A without thinking, other than that I don't think I have the aural vocabulary.

Rocksmith 2014 Customs Tagger http://s16.postimg.org/5ew2ku4yt/Icon3.png The [TOOL] CDLC Tagger is available Thanks to Lovroman for coding it: http://customsforge.com/topic/20334-tool-cdlc-tagger/ --------------The Following Posts/infos were posted before the release of the Tool, they are outdated actually-------------- I think it would be useful to know if a song is a custom or not in the songlist. I've play a little with Photoshop & been able to locate the exact tag position on the albums art. All the others originals tags would stay untouched (RS1, DLC etc), it would apply only on the Customs, so upcoming official dlc will re…

Hi, is there any mod that can replace the colored rectangles by the fret number (tab style sort of way)? That will be very helpful for me as a tablature guy. Thanks

Not sure if this has been looked at before. In learn a song it would be god to have the song start at normal speed and all notes then if you hit a bum note it stops and goes back say 1 bar for you to try again. helping you to home your memory of the piece. I know I can use rift repeater to show me the notes missed. Was just thinking of another learning tool

I think it would be a great idea to have some transcribing exercises with Rocksmith, some notes sounds and you play it with riff repeater until it said you don't have any mistake. The problem is that to activate master mode, first you have to play it at least perfect in Score Attack, and then you would not have any problem to know what notes the exercise is asking for. About transcribing: http://www.justinguitar.com/en/TR-001-WhyTranscribe.php I've been modifyng a file, to make this possible and make a CDLC so you have to figure out what note sound and play it. Here is a video of how it looks: It isn't perfect yet ( and I think it never will since seen impossible …

A while ago, I set my sights on developing an new application tool that could help turn ordinary Midi files into Rocksmith 2014 CDLC songs. The goal was to produce CDLC songs for beginning guitar players who are still working on note playing and timing. No advanced guitar techniques or skills needed. Midi songs are readily available and can serve as a great music source for beginning guitarist. The latest release of Midi2RsXml is Version 1.2.0 from April 8, 2015. This is a droplet application that converts Rocksmith Ready Midi Files into the files that CST uses to create a CDLC song. New support for rhythm (chords) and bass has been added. Be sure to read step 4…

Project: 1) Create Backing Tracks / Chord Progressions .MP3 files * I am sure there are plenty of these for Free somewhere on the net. 2) Tab out various practice scale patterns for learning. (This is what you would see in RS2014 to follow along with) I have tuxguitar (because it's free) but it can be exported to .GP5 I believe. 3) Provide Key Signatures / Scale information 4) Have someone smarter than me create the cDLC for them :) (I would love to do some of this part myself but I am still learning) 5) Begin full scale repository for NooB guitar players to enjoy learning some techniques for solo'N (I just don't enjoy session mode very much) Anyone inte…

Hi all, Here's a small collection of tools to deal with Rocksmith songs: https://github.com/x0l/rs-utils Mostly intended for OSX users (command line batch convert), it can also be useful for others (make WEMs without launching Wwise). I'm a bit lazy at the moment, but if I (or anyone else) find the time, I'll add JSON and aggregate graph generation. Mostly python and shell code, easy to understand/port/improve. Cheers,
