	So, I setuped RSmods, tried diffrent colours, but they all are not friendly to me. I don't like original, I lost middle strings in them, except 2 low-tuned string and 1 high-tuned string. Middle is just miserable for me.
</p>

<p>
	I tried <a href="https://i.imgur.com/aNja7A9.png" rel="external nofollow">something like this </a>, but reds looks confusing now depsite colors is very clear and different - ingame they looks bad. For example light-pink looks just like white...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Any help with scheme or colors? Or which colors is easier to 'imagine' as 'high-tuned' and 'low-tuned', so to understand better middle one. Thanks. \
</p>

<p>
	Also, would be nice, if you explain to me how<a href="https://i.imgur.com/MW2uNUk.png" rel="external nofollow"> extended range </a>mode works.  I read official discription on github, but not undertstanding. Can it support 8 string?

	Hi everyone! I wanted to request a potential mod to be able to see the specific note you are playing instead of just the highlighted fret. I envisioned it would appear as the letter (and #/b) overtop of the highlighted color. It would really help me to visualize and remember the fretboard better as that is an area I am currently struggling in. Let me know if this is something that already exists or can be created <span>:)</span>

If someone could give me some context as to how this mod works, I would greatly appreciate it.

</h1>

<p style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	Hey fellow Rocksmith players! <span class="ipsEmoji">👋</span>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	I'm <strong>Cédric</strong>, a developer by trade, guitarist by passion, and longtime Rocksmith user. I'm excited to share a project I've been working on that I believe can help all of us improve our playing!
</p>

<h2 style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:16px;">
	<span class="ipsEmoji">🚀</span> <strong>What is RockSmith Guitar Mute?</strong>
</h2>

<p style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	<strong>RockSmith Guitar Mute</strong> is an open-source tool that uses <strong>AI-powered source separation</strong> to remove guitar tracks from any Rocksmith song, creating clean backing tracks. This means you can:
</p>

<ul style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	<li>
		<strong>Hear yourself better</strong> when playing
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Work on rhythmic placement</strong> with just drums, bass, and vocals
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Experience the unmatched feeling</strong> of playing alongside your guitar heroes
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Practice with isolated backing tracks</strong> for better skill development
	</li>
</ul>

<h2 style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:16px;">
	<span class="ipsEmoji">🧠</span> <strong>The Magic Behind It</strong>
</h2>

<p style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	The project leverages <a href="https://github.com/adefossez/demucs" rel="external nofollow">Demucs </a>- a state-of-the-art music source separation model developed by a Facebook Research engineer. This AI can intelligently separate audio into individual stems (drums, bass, vocals, guitar) with impressive quality!
</p>

<p style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	The tool also builds upon existing community projects:
</p>

<ul style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	<li>
		<strong>rs-utils</strong> and <strong>rsrtools</strong> for Rocksmith file handling
	</li>
	<li>
		Modern AI techniques for clean audio separation

	<span class="ipsEmoji">🎯</span> <strong>Why This Matters for Your Playing</strong>

<p style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	As Rocksmith players, we've all experienced the frustration of not being able to hear our own playing clearly, or struggling with timing because the original guitar track masks our performance. With clean backing tracks, you can:
</p>

<ul style="background-color:#181818;color:#cccccc;font-size:13px;">
	<li>
		<strong>Focus on your technique</strong> without competing with the original guitar
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Develop better timing</strong> by playing to isolated rhythm sections
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Build confidence</strong> by clearly hearing your progress

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I am new to the form and not very internet savvy, please forgive me if my question has already been answered somewhere on this page.
</p>

<p>
	Is there a guide to making custom forge songs for Rocksmith 2014? I would really like to play some Flipturn songs, since I haven't been able to find them anywhere I though the next option would be to make my own. I would happily share there to the custom forge page when they are completed.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you in advance for any help and guidance you might share.

	I'm a long-time Rocksmith user who finally got fed up, so I started working on my own app for playing songs.
</p>

<p>
	Features/goals:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Open file format (with converter for RS songs)
	</li>
	<li>
		Fast startup, speedy UI
	</li>
	<li>
		Runs as a plugin inside a DAW
	</li>
	<li>
		Resampling of songs a fixed offset from standard tuning so you don't need to retune
	</li>
	<li>
		Note/Chord detection
	</li>
	<li>
		Song browser
	</li>
	<li>
		Open source
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	Current limitations:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Windows only (although the core is being designed to be cross-platform)

	So with the current intro skip an NVME SSD is required or the game will crash... Well my new computer doesnt have an NVME but instead has a SATA SSD.
</p>

<p>
	Since I know how the current method works thanks to this link:
</p>

<div class="ipsEmbeddedOther">
	<iframe allowfullscreen="" data-embedid="embed5340045380" scrolling="no" style="height:113px;" data-embed-src="https://customsforge.com/index.php?app=core&amp;module=system&amp;controller=embed&amp;url=https://www.reddit.com/r/rocksmith/comments/9hycbe/are_there_any_mods_or_hacks_to_get_rs_to_launch/e6gpca8/?st=JQA1SPT6%26sh=545760cd"></iframe>
</div>

<p>
	I decided to try different methods to make the intro skip slightly slower by allowing 1 or 2 of the "ad" screens to appear first.
</p>

<p>
	With only 1 added screen I was able to successfully load the game significantly faster without crashing.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This is the method I used: (If you dont understand this line, refer to the link above)
</p>

<p>
	Push register1 "TEST_OBJECT" "VideoName" "..\\..\\GFxAssets\\videos\\intro\\UbiLogo.usm" "State" "<strong>LegalScreen</strong>" "UbisoftScreen" "Images" "logo" "ID" "logo" "File" "ubisoft_logo.png" 2
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Instead of "BlackScreen" I simply added the loading screen before that which was "LegalScreen"
</p>

<p>
	I suspect that even on an HDD this method would work simply by moving up the load screen chain until you find which one works for you.
</p>

<p>

	</source></video>

<p>
	Lightspeed seems fitting enough
</p>

<p>
	I tested opening and closing the game multiple times, and so far it has worked every time on a WD blue 500gb SATA SSD (relatively low end)

	I know you can disable it in Remastered, but I enjoy the venue element that original Rocksmith has.
</p>

<p>
	However, every encore I play now seems to be in Master Mode. And as far as I can tell, even intentionally bombing the song won't take it off Master Mode. And since it's always on the encore, I can't just rehearse the song until I memorize it.
</p>

<p>
	I imagine more than enough people have experienced the same frustration. Does anyone know of a mod that will disable Master Mode for Rocksmith (the original version)?

I need help, every time I look for help somewhere else they all send me back to chainbrains link of downloading the same cdlc. Am I not doing something correctly?? Please help me out

	Hello everyone! I made a tool with the purpose of using it myself via command line and then I managed to pack it nicely into an *.exe file, thinking other people might find it useful as well. It basically reads Rocksmith's memory and passes the value of the current tone index to MIDI Program Change or MIDI Control Change in order to be used in software like AmpliTube or Ableton live for example, in my case. I know it's buggy here and there, as I'm not a professional programmer, but I hope it works for you, as well. I tested it only with Rocksmith 2014 Remastered v165.396631, as it's the only version working for me on Steam.
