Hey Guys, I got a problem with the song toolkit... When I try to generate a song this error pops up Dont really know what to do... I got the recommended Wwise Version and the path in the tool is the correct one... I did everything exactly as in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL_PDEhoc7Y (as far it was possible) Does anyone know what I could do there?

I ran the GUI from the desktop link. Updater said something new was available. Clicked. OKed. It ran through everything, downloaded, it appeared to be copying files over... until it told me there was some stuff it couldn't delete and that I should do so manually. I clicked the restart button, and it failed. I clicked on the desktop shortcut again and the OS told me it couldn't find the .exe. I go to the RockSmithToolkit program folder and it is empty. Manually installing by downloading the zip and dragging the folder over worked fine. OS: Win7UE Previous version of toolkit: 2.9.2.0-82476be0-win

Hello there, For official DLC that is unpacked from the toolkit there is an XML file exported.... however the Toolkit does not recognise this XML file. Is there any way to either: 1) convert this XML file to a format that the Toolkit accepts or, 2) export a guitar pro tab from this XML file? I know some will wonder why and the answer is that I would really like to have the songs I want to learn all in standard tuning. Particularly those that are slightly offset tunings. So i downloaded everything correctly, o make the song and add everything in, then when i go to click on the generate button this comes up. The usual problem people have is not adding the path for the wwise folder but i have done that under configurations. Was wondering whether anyone had the same problem or someone knows whats wrong. Just as the title says. Got all the way thru my first CDLC and once I click on 'Generate' I get a message saying it can't find an installation of Wwise. My C: drive didn't have room so I installed to D:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise 2019.2.1.7250. That's exactly what I have listed as the Wwise path on the General Config page, but still no luck. Is there an .ini or other config file I can manually enter the Wwise path to get around this? I have over 80+ CDLC in this site and would like to chart more. There's a Bring Me The Horizon song (Mother Tongue) that could be played on E standard, except there's a struming in the last chorus that is so low can't be played on E, and must be played it a lower tunning (maybe A or B, whatever). So I was planning on doing this, I just need someone to tell me if it will work, and how to do it: I was thinking on charting it on E standard, and on that low tunning part, chart it still on E standard, and add a "lower tone" tone change to it, and then go back to the E standard, regular tone. HI, This is not the same problem as a similarly named thread. :) I am working with an old version of a DLC I made a year or two ago, to fix some of the issues. Back then, I synchronized with manual mapping and I don't want to redo it with Go Play Along because I had a lot of trouble syncing it in the first place. I downloaded the Toolkit and Wise, and began fixing songs that were crashing. About half of them worked fine and seem to not crash in RS2014 but the others come up with an error at generation. Basically, this is the message. One or more fields are missing info... 'PackageVersion is missing...' I'm not computer illiterate, but not anywhere near a software developer either. For several months (not sure the exact version when it started) the toolkit will make mistakes if the CDLC template is not saved in the same folder as the EOF project files. When the xml is loaded it will change what was entered as the album art location, wem location, and arrangement locations.

Not sure if this is the right forum, but... I'm able to play Rocksmith via Wine+Winetricks on Mint. My CDLCs show up, but when I click to play any of them they never leave the screen where the speakers pop up (I'm still able to hear/play my guitar). I dropped the custom D3DX9_42 .dll found from this forum into the root folder of RS, and that immediately causes the game to crash. Has anyone gotten CDLC to work under Linux?

Is there a way to export CDLC directly into the Go PlayAlong software? What I mean is converting a CDLC into a file with the tab and music already synced and packaged together that would make it automatically plug and play and ready to drop into GPA without needing to go through the process in GPA (exporting the tabs, loading in a song, loading in a tab, then manually syncing everything together? I know about the ability to export tabs but I don't really have the time to do the combining files and syncing processes in GPA, and all of the work has already been done by all of the fantastic CDLC contributors here anyway. I've been playing Rocksmith on an old Xbox 360 for years but lately it's been reporting a lot of false errors, mostly when I'm playing chords - even if the chord doesn't change and I'm just strumming, it says I'm making errors. The problem has been getting worse as time goes by, as has the audio lag. I tried the Mac version from Steam and the experience is way better - it only tells me I've made a mistake when I've actually made a mistake! So I've decided to junk the Xbox (Rocksmith was the only thing I used it for) but don't want to lose all the DLC songs I've already paid for. It's as the title says. Now I can't remember what version of the Toolkit I had, because when I tried to update it to fix the issue, it deleted itself because I had Rocksmith running. I wish I was joking, but it literally did. And I'm calling it a night before I bother to do anything with it (Update or use an older version). Because there's a bigger problem. To sum up what I mean by breaking notes, it's when notes are invisible, or are cutting off, or just not showing at all. Hi all, I'm not sure if I'm in the right section of the forum, if so, I apologize. So, I noticed tonight that one of my custom tones doesn't quite sound the same way in the song as it does in the tone designer. I've loaded the song into the toolkit, checked the tone settings, everything looks fine comparing between here and the T.D.. But once I get to playing it in the song, it just sounds flat. Has anyone else experienced something like this, or might anyone have an idea for a solution? Thanks
