Sometimes I want to see if a tab can be played easier. For example, your at the 24th fret playing the low E string note, and it suddenly charts it as an open note on the high e string. Would it be possible to implement a button combination like shift up/shift down to move a note from its current position whatever fret is that note on the strings above or below? For example: the 2nd string 5th fret, if you push shift up, it changes to an open 1st string note. Another interesting feature idea would be something that tries to find the optimum frets for a certain selection of notes, to minimize the number of anchor position shifts. hey i have a problem that somtimes when i try to copy lets say a solo that is in another guiar part in EoF, it will always move some notes a little and somtimes not fully cpoying some techniques and tech notes...id do it in guitar pro but i have no idea how to use it to edit parts-i always do it at EoF. tldr:i just want the EoF to copy everything and without moving notes:) btw i use r1341 but i wanna know if its my eof or my settings or so...thx if you dont get what i mean i can upload a vid~ :)

I am very new at this, but I couldn'd find an answer. I am trying to make my first custom song, and the song I chose has increased speed on the solo part. How do i change BPM only for that part ?

Dumb question? Nononono. You dumb. I'm not kidding, why the hell is there a MIDI import option on EOF if it doesn't even work? So I wasted an hour rewriting a guitar tab in TuxGuitar, and it never worked after exporting to MIDI. Someone explain what I'm doing wrong? (I have Distortion Guitar as my setting in Tux Guitar, and I have exported it to a MIDI, but I can't import to EOF because the notes don't appear) If anyone can help me, please do. I'd appreciate it. And no, I can not use Guitar Pro... unless you want to give me the stupid full version, go ahead, I'd be happy with that. Jesus... who can get that on a budget of £5 a month?

Hey guys, whenever I want to add Leading Silence to a song, I add 3000 milliseconds and press OK. Instead of adding 3 seconds to the start of the song it makes the entire song blank and last 3 seconds. What the hell is going on? Cheers.

Hey all, does anyone know how to create showlight files in EoF? I was trying to convert a RS1 cdlc into a RS14 and i think i need to create a showlight file, but I don't know how. I've searched the site and haven't found anything yet, any help would be appreciated, thanks. :)

Looking through the songs and notes in EOF everything seems fine, but when I put the song into the game the notes get very delayed after a while... (all notes hit where they should in EOF..) any ideas how to fix this? (didn't know where to post it, and idk if it's an EOF related issue..) Thanks!

Hi guys i am having a promblem with importing the .xml file from Go Playalong to EOF as when i try to import it , it says "Error: Malformed Go Playalong file. Aborting" any help on this problem would be amazing.

I reworked the F1 - Shortcut Keys to add "Quertz" shortcuts. I gathered ALL shortcuts, categorized to their usability. Hi. I'm currently correcting some gp tabs and adding some slides, hammer ons, pull offs, that are grace notes. They doesn't "count" as notes when timing the bar, but they must be played. However, when I import them in EoF, these notes are nowhere to be seen. Is there something I'm missing? Does EoF import these? If so, I would like to know how.

So I'm trying to recover some work from a compiled package. The .eof file is lost on a crashed hard drive. I'm running the latest toolkit v2.6.1.0 I'm able to extract the xml file. Hi Guys, Trying to use EOF 1341. It won't allow me to use the keyboard. I cannot enter any text into textboxes, let alone use shortcuts. When i do press a key, the editor loses focus and i then cannot use the mouse until i alt+tab into it. I'm using a UK QWERTY, however i have tried changing my locale to US with no luck. Win 7 x64. Also tried a USB keyboard (Same UK QWERTY). Any ideas? Thanks Pu

when I save it say warning there is no intro rs section, but the beat marker before the first note already has a section you should move that section because only one section per beat is exported try change it but same thing not getting whats wrong used ddc and packed it in game level are there but there is black boxes at top for levels can't tell what level you are at works fine but black boxes at top in game

As the title says i need to copy & paste a group of notes but don't know how to select them. All i can seem to do is either select 1 note or the whole song. Can anyone help?

Hi, I've just met a new problem for me. EOF gave me "Could not save project (error 3)" when i try to save it. And this happens just at the beginning. I create a new project, adjust BPM change and Time signature, create the leading silence, try to save and that's it. I use windows 7 on a PC. Thanks for your work, i have a lot of fun because of your software. Help, please ?
