I finished tabbing a song in editor on fire and the first 15 seconds of the song work in Rocksmith. But after that no more chords or notes come. Help!

Hi, I imported a GP5 song which has a lot of triplets, to give it a swing feel. When import it, I have a couple of places where the last note of a triplet goes all the way to the next measure. It happens two or three times, and I don't understand how to fix it. Is there a way to change the length of a note in EOF? If not, how can I fix these errors? Thanks, L

For some reason EOF has started crashing every time I try to use it. I have made a few cdlcs before and have never had this problem. I have tried rebooting my pc, deleting the EOF program files and downloaded them again, but the program still Keeps crashing regardless of what song I try to work on. I am running Windows 7, and on problem details it is showing Fault Module Name ntdll.dll

  4. Hello, this is my first time experiencing something like this in EoF where whenever I import the track it adds something that isn't in the track and most notes are missing from the track. http://puu.sh/o5Eav/223672c135.JPG http://puu.sh/o5EaH/3f5de51a53.JPG http://puu.sh/o5Eb4/bc26036618.JPG http://puu.sh/o5Eb0/328c19d1c1.JPG

Hi there, Just trying to edit existed psarc file to divide section for riff repeater. What I know so far, 1.Unpack psarc file. 2.import Lead XML file on EOF, I can see all the note that already been created. but if I try to load ogg file from the folder that I upacked, it shows"OGGS can only be loaded from the current song folder" Anyway, I hit shift + s add section that I want to divide in the song for riff repeater(if this the one??) 3. I can only save the work as .EOF file on EOF. How can I repack to psarc with all the changes??Am I on the right path?

I've noticed that if I use Ctrl+X to mute a note it just makes an X where the fret number was. However if I edit the note and just clicked the mute checkbox then the number remains. So my question is, if I use the Ctrl+X does that keep the fret number note or does it make it a generic open note mute?

  7. OK, I read how to insert tones. The song had one tone (distortion) to make life simple. EOF doesn't like just having one tone that kicks in a few sections of the song. I saw one suggestion to have the same tone, change the file name and set it as the default tone. Then place the second tone where its needed in the song. So if you place a distortion tone at the start of song, but its not needed until later, does this actually turn on distortion. Is there such a thing as "Do nothing" tone that essentially functions as an off switch. So you would put it at the start, then start put in Distortion 2, then to turn if off, put in the Do Nothing tone. Is that wha…

  8. Hey there, pretty new to editing/creating cdlc files so I'm pretty lost. Some songs in my library that I've downloaded don't have any riff repeater sections, making certain parts difficult to learn. I've been playing around with eof and the rocksmith toolkit to try and edit files to include sections but to little avail. Has anyone tried doing this? Thanks for any help Edit: Found a tool that does exactly what I need to do. It can also sync up notes if need be! It's called the BPR tool and it super easy to use. Here is a link: http://customsforge.com/topic/15687-beats-phrases-resynchronizer/page-1 Thanks to Chlipouni for making it!

  9. Started by Syvaa,

Hey, I just managed to make my first CDLC, but I get this issue with the sections and it displays like it doesnt cover the whole song? I'm reffering to that the orange line doesnt cover the whole song, I mean its no problem when I play the song, but this makes it diffitcult to pick a section in riff repeater for instance. Is this an issue in EoF or is it when I create it in the custom tool kit? Anyone knows? Syvaa. http://i.imgur.com/qckvBfh.jpg?1

I'm not sure if this is on EOF or the toolkits end but when I import frethand mutes into eof from gpro and then load up the song in the game it just has you muting open strings.

I'm having a hard time with a particular song (BLS-Bleed for Me), I cropped all the useless 30 seconds of guitar doodle at the beginning of the song, I then was able to drag the notes in sync with the first riff, the song has a brief pause, and then the notes fall out by a titch afterwards. When I try to drag the notes to fall in sync with each other, the previous notes that I just got to fall in sync drag with it..how do I select the notes I want to drag while leaving the previous ones in place? Or do I have to edit the tabs themselves?

  16. Hey Guys, I am trying to do the song Pagan's Mind - Back To The Magic Of Childhood Exploring Life Part 2 which is a 9'17 song the tab I have is 9'14 which of course is fine. The problem is when I import the tab into EOF the notes go well past the song onto 12'15 in length and have major issues matching anything up. It seems about half way through a lot of the notes have spread very far apart which is not how it should be. Going over the tab in GP6 it all looks and sounds fine, so is there a problem with EOF or something I am not seeing in the tab? It's very strange, been at this for several hours now. I see someone has done part one, perhaps they didn't do part two fo…

I'm having a weird issue with EoF. I had previously made a bass part in my current project that was tuned to BEAD in PART REAL_BASS_22, but I have instead created a 5-string bass part in the PART REAL_GUITAR track, and I now want to use PART REAL_BASS_22 for a Rhythm guitar track. I'm fairly confidant I've done this before, so I erased the track I didn't want anymore, set the tuning back to standard EADG, then set the number of strings to 6, and the Arrangement Type to Rhythm. I am tabbing the song I'm working on by ear, and I was having an issue isolating the strums for the first few bars. I decided to change my sound card to a different mode to allow me to change t…

The last 2 DLC I worked on had grace notes in the GP5 file. On both of them it imported the grace note, but ignored the regular note. So in one instance the GP5 had fret 3 (grace) slide to 5 (sustain for a half note). The import had fret 3 sustain for half note. Which would sound wrong. Is it possible to have it just import both notes? or at least just drop the grace note and use the main note?

what's the best way to trim the end of a note? i have sections of arpeggios where the notes are too close and EoF is having trouble. can't seem to find a good reference on something so basic. thanks

  22. Started by mbanks850,

Is there a way to add default fingering. The band I have been doing a lot of CDLC for uses a 1-4-3 chord a lot. Or just a 1-4 double stop. So on the 5th fret it would be 5(e)-8(a)-7(d) or 5(e)-8(a). Is it possible to add global fingering , so any DLC I do will know that this is fingered with 1.4,3, or just 1,4? Whether this is added to the code, or something I can do in my copy doesnt matter to me.

  23. I am trying to do my first CDLC and guides and videos I have run across are helpful, but these 3 errors, I can't find anything on. Do a search and most likely return is GITHUB where it shows the EOF program code which doesn't help me much. 1) At least on Rocksmith section doesn't have a Rocksmith Phrase at the same position. This can cause the chart's sections to work incorrectly Would you like Rocksmith phrases to correct this? If I click YEs, then a Rocksmith phrase box pops up. No idea what I am supposed to put there 2) Warning: At least one track difficulty has no fret hand positions defined. The will be created automatically. Error keeps coming back …

So I have a few questions to check if I'm not missing something Are these things possible to author in EOF / supported by RS? Staccato: This doesn't matter too much and most likely isn't supported by RS, but I was wondering if there is something possible to add visually to see if a chord or note is played staccato. Maybe with the crazy note status? Don't have much experience with 'crazy' so maybe I overlooked something. Rake: I guess this can be authored by just having the notes very close together. Just wondering if there is any special feature for it to make it more visible since all notes are very close together. Or is there a special standard to be used for this…

  25. Started by ikwtif,

So in EOF, in order to get the muted chord part to show up in RS at a "good" position you need to assign notes to it. I used it as the first chord in a series of chords as muted, but now RS never shows the actual chord to play but just the empty windows, since the "first chord" displayed is muted. I don't know if it's possible, but I don't think a muted chord should be considered as a real chord and the next "real" chord should still be displayed in RS. I know the example isn't the best as I probably should use the previous chord as muted, but I have several other sections in the song with the same issue.
